Angina or not?

Anxiety
Hi all, I’m new to the group. I am looking for a bit of support and advice on knowing what pain I should be worried about and what I can ignore. I am unable to physically join a group currently so just trying to stop being so worried about every little twinge I feel. I don’t really want to use the GTN

New Stockpile GTN Spray
I was wondering if the ingredients in a GTN spray may be a good thing to use on the Supermarket Trolley ( Cart ) for international readers, or even to keep your hands clean I just ordered 5 on my repeat prescription just in case it may be good. Anyone else thought of this ?? --)

Monomil
Evening everyone First time today I had to use my GTN spray, a trip to GP was needed and he has increased my monomil xl to 2 tablets a day - has anyone else found this to help their angina symptoms? I think I was in denial that I have angina and that after my stent I would be back to normal- how silly

Advice re Chronic Fissure for a 40-year-old Athlete
Hi, I'm new here. Thanks to everyone who's already posted. I first developed an anal fissure in 2.5 years ago. I kept thinking it would heal on its own. My surgeon told me continuing to row and bike wouldn't make it worse, but it definitely seemed to prevent it from healing. I finally had surgery

GTN spray
Hello hope all are well. Anyone had any issues with taking their GTN spray on a plane or any other meds. It's my first time flying since my HA and stent.

Help with diagnosis
My husband has had chest pain for 20+ years. He was initially diagnosed as having angina but when all investigations came back clear, he was "dismissed" by cardiologist and GP alike. His last appointment back then was with a registrar who said he thought it was coronary artery spasm but nothing was ever

Question regarding symptoms and dizzy/cold sweat episode
Recently Diagnosed with Angina, CAD of the LAD. Reading up on this states chest aching/discomfort should go on taking aspirin and GTN but I have constant aching and discomfort in my chest - is this normal symptoms or unstable angina? Also woke up in the middle of the night feeling unwell, went to bathroom

Waiting forever after complications with an Angiogram
Hi all, New here. Had a heart attack in early July last year and had no idea that I had suffered one - no chest pain, just dizziness, nausea and pain in my arms and back more akin to muscle aches after exercise (I also thought I had some sort of gastric reflux and swigged a load of Gavescon). Anyway,

Post stent
Hi I’m new here. Had a heart attack on the 13th of this month. Cardiac care superb and stent fitted on the 20th. Since discharge home have had arm pain and yesterday an angina attack which resolved with GTN spray. Naively I thought that with the artery opening up with the stent that this would solve

RECENT EPISODE on 24 January 2020
Though I had experience of knocking sensation before but last Friday's episode was really dreadful after my dinner. On sitting I felt a pressure on mid-chest area, it was something like I have been locked from inside and can get relief if I have some belching. Noted the BP which was high 180/70 HR 78

Unstable angina
Hubby is 53 had 2 previous mi's and 4 stents. He has been fairly stable for well over a year apart from pain when he overdoes things. He is on high dosages of all the normal "heart" meds. Update, still got discomfort
Still got discomfort in the top of my chest, under my left arm and neck. Does not get worse on exertion and even disappears sometimes. GTN does improve it. Doctor says it’s almost certainly not my heart as it does not get worse with exertion ? Doc says Could be the meds but thinks it’s to early after
