I had a heart attack last December and had a stent fitted. I had another stent fitted in MArch. I have Angina which can cause chest pains even while not exercising, and use GTN spray. Usually sorts it but last weekend it did not and went to hospital for 2 days. But I do suffer extreme tiredness every

only 3 out of 4 graphs have worked.
just back from seeing DR at hospital and 3 out of the 4 bypasses have worked?. he says there is nothing surgically he can do at this point and will see me in 1 year's time. keep on with the Gtn spray when needed. do's this mean I still have angina??

Life with Angina
Been to see my cardiogist today and saw the results of my recent angiogram on video. He explained the bypassx3 showed me the grafts explained in detail. Although the bypass has worked on two of the grafts the arteries are so minute the vessels cannot be stented or grafted so I now have unstable angina

Scans
Hi All, The myocardial perfusion scan, went well yesterday. It was a stress one. I was told they may ask me to come back for a rest one? Saw my GP today. She changed my Gtn spray to a long lasting tablet. Only to take a half of this tablet. we left the beta blocker at the same dosage. I mentioned that

Inverted t waves
Hi. Has anyone had acute inverted t waves for a long time which may or may not be cardiac related? I'm having ongoing ecgs scans and blood tests and each time there are both flat and inverted t waves. I'm told there hasn't been any changes since the ECG and heart scan done 7 years ago. So I'm not too

Is it angina?
Hi folks... I would like to delve into the tank of knowledge that this site has gallons of and ask you guys if the pain I get is like the pain you angina sufferers get. I know that sounds strange so let me shed some light on the reason I ask. Over a year ago I had a chest pain that was associated with

CT Scan
Hi All, Had my CT Scan. All went well. The Dye really does make you think you have wet yourself. Even though I took all my rings etc off, I didn't need to, only a bra if it had metal in it. Had a phone call from hospital to ask me if I would go for a Myocardial Perfusion Scan. This I have next Tuesday

New medication
Hi there, I’ve recently been prescribed Glyceryl Trinitrate (Deponit) patches & Hydroxychloroquine (tablets) for my limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis after various previous meds not working. Has anyone else used these? Any success? Many thanks in advance for your replies 😊

Distrust of Doctors and how to overcome it.
Do people really trust their doctors? If you do, how did you come to trust them? One of the reasons I ask is I hear so many times please consult your doctor before you or ask your doctor about ...... Frankly I kind of turn off at that point as I don't really trust medical doctors and therefore consulting

GTN Spray?
Hi. Brand new on here and 10 days post husband's heart attack and stent and he's doing very well. We're getting to grips with the drugs routine but are somewhat alarmed to discover, despite not having used it, that the GTN Spray is less than half full. Is this usual? Does it evaporate this quickly normally

Please can someone tell me what I should be asking?
After a brief stint in hospital this week and no answers as yet, I thought I’d do a bit of research of my own. I have been part of healthunlocked before but not on this platform. I am Hypothyroide 100g thyroxine a day, my T4/3 is mid range although my TSH of .003 ( which most doctors will have you believe
