Could I be Hypothyroid?
I've been presenting with symptoms of hypothyroidism for the past 10 years, with blood tests identifying TSH levels at the higher end of normal and T4 levels at the lower end of normal, together with low ferritin levels (17 at the lowest). However since I remain within 'normal range' and despite a family

Can I take multi vitamins with iron with my levothyroxine?
I had my thyroid removed several years ago and have been taking 175mcg of levothyroxine for at least 5 years. I have recently decided to become a vegetarian, but am aware that I may not have enough iron in my diet, as I am feeling more tired than usual. Is it okay to take a multi vitamin with iron

A tip to cure horrible taste in mouth
Hi Everyone, After hanging around and reading lots of posts for the last 10 weeks, I've finally plucked up the courage to post something! I mainly want to post to help other ladies who might be suffering... I found out I was pregnant at 4.5 weeks, which seems like forever ago now! I was pleased

On my patient info. sheet Atvis 50 mcg. I cannot see any info. about not eating grapefriut or waiting for several hours before a meal.
I am sure I have read about milk not to be taken either. Can anyone tell me the source of this info. as I love my grapefruit and my tea, with milk. My chemistry is now a bit stale, and info sheet says no calcium carbonate, (Adcal?) but doesn't milk contain calcium only? Pharmacy instructions

Meds
My son vinny has alagille syndrome. He has several meds to take. takes them all with no probs except sodium bicarbonate. we have been mixing it with diluting juice. Does anyone have any other methods that might be a bit tastier.

This one's gonna be a long one..! - LPR: A chronic, troublesome puzzle
First of all I'd like to say that I have read the replies to my previous posts, and taken them to heart. I'd like to personally thank everyone who has offered their support so far. However I cannot take these replies to my head, as right now it is illogical to say that I have anything other than LPR,

PUPPP / PEP / itchy rash
I have had itching all over my body, except feet, hands and face, for about the last three weeks. It started off without any rash, which was concerning in case it was Obstetric Chlorestasis, but two blood tests do not indicate any cause for concern in that respect, thankfully. However, the itch is getting

I have MPA I`ve realized that for some time, my nerves are not as good as they should be, by this I mean,
if my wife appears unexpectedly through a doorway in the house or a noise, not necessarily a loud bang takes me by surprise, my whole body reacts, as though there had been a large explosion, and I`m left standing there feeling rather foolish. I know it seems a small thing, but I wonder if any one has

Low Stomach Acid and dosage of betaine hcl
Hi I've been awake the last couple of nights with 'acid throat' discomfort. I did the bicarbonate of soda test this morning - 1 tsp in 200mls of water. Not a single burp for over half an hour! I'm thinking I may have low stomach acid and considering getting some betaine hcl tabs. Does anyone

Hi, I'm new here!
Came on this site although its Scottish and I'm in the south of the UK cos I'm not recovering and Scotland is sure a lot closer than South Africa which seemed to be the only other options. Don't get me wrong, I love Scotland, or at least some of it, especially Glasgow to Inverness inland. Had a BF/soul
