Diagnosis Hashimotos Based On Antibodies Only
Doctor started me on
Liothyronine
5mg 2xday. I almost immediately had the anxiety, pounding heart, shaking hands. It was very uncomfortable. Doctor told me to discontinue and see what happens. I stopped two days ago, and am no longer having the symptoms I was having.

Liothyronine dose reduction?
I’m wondering if my dose of 60mcgs of
Liothyronine
a day is now too much because I’ve lost almost a stone. Is it possible I could need a dose reduction?

Recent visit to endocrinologist at Barnsley Hospital.
So I’ve recently seen a endo and she was pleasant enough but very poor knowledge about
Liothyronine
. She simply said the full affects on the body are not known and that Levothyroxine is adequate treatment for underactive thyroid conditions.

So I’ve taken my first 10 mcg tablet of
liothyronine
and I’ve just had the ambulance team round as I’ve reacted to the tablet. So I took half the tablet and within seconds of taking it my body went hot inside, a bit like when your injected with x ray solution.

A few more 'jokes'
These stories of GPs snatching away our vital

has me so worried I've surrounded my supply with apples.

I took levothyroxine originally but just ballooned on that and passed out, felt awful etc etc, so I saw an endocrinologist who did say that not all patients convert the levothyroxi to t3 in the body after radioactive iodine so she put me on
liothyronine
, the weight went but I became overactive again,

summoned to doctor
I am concerned that I may be refused future T3. currently take 75 mcg levothyroxine and 20 of
liothyronine
, which I have taken for about ten years, the last four or so, with fairly similar thyroid test results. Advice would be greatly received so I am forearmed!!

I might not be fine on T4 only after all
To me this suggests that I need to reduce my T4/levothyroxine dose and introduce T3/
liothyronine
. Thus, I am trialling reducing 75mcg of thyroxine per day, to once every 2 days, resulting in 37.5mcg. In addition, I shall add 12.5mcg
Liothyronine
.

Armour Thyroid and Liothyronine
Anyone here managing to obtain prescription for Armour or
Liothyronine
? If so which CCG do you fall under? Anyone challenged their local CCG for refusal to prescribe anything but levothyroxine? Anyone been successful in their challenge and what legal challenge if did they mount?

Another awful Dad joke.
I told my GP I had to stop taking Morningside
liothyronine
after suffering the same nightmare night after night in which I dreamed I was a pair of curtains. " Pull yourself together man! " he snapped.

Lest we forget
Hence
liothyronine
has gone up 2000% - yes l mean 2000% - in order to force gps and hospitals to refuse its use. While not forbidding it exactly they have successfully raised it to a prohihitive price range. Lobbying parliament through your MP might bring it to the attention of Fair Trading.

Update on #T3Campaign
We know that many patients are still having their
liothyronine
withdrawn or not being referred to endocrinologists for a trial and this is not acceptable. However, we are also hearing, at long last, that some CCGs are recognising the need for
liothyronine
by some patients.

Do I tell my Endo I’m self medicating with NDT?
My T3 levels have always been abysmally low and even when I was taking
liothyronine
, it wasn’t enough because I had only just gotten a prescription for it from a dr in the US, then we moved to the UK and my T3 sweetspot wasn’t established yet.

Heart scares on Liothyronine! Anyone else!?
I’m on just 5 mg of
liothyronine
for the past 3 months. I’ve been inconsistent with taking it, but I notice when I do I feel better in some ways and worse in others. Been waking up multiple times a night gasping for air/short of breath.

Confused. Why is TSH low but T4/T3 also low?
Let's say 20-25mcg of
liothyronine
is equiv to approx 100mcg of levo, so theoretically I'm taking equivalent of 200-225mcg of levo. I understand why T4 is not high because my system senses the presence of T3 and therefore excretes excess T4.
