Latest response from my NHS Endo who thinks I'm overmedicated and my emailed response
My T4 result is adequate and my T3 is slightly below par for someone on 15mcg of
Liothyronine
and although most of my 20 plus symptoms have completely vanished i did still have some constipation and painful and heavy periods, as such I have increased my T3 to 20mcg per day and now those last 2 symptoms

Liothyronine/Cytomel dosage, timing, side effects
I was told to take the
Liothyronine
at the same time as my Synthroid which I take between 2am-4am. I am taking 1/2 a dose: 2.5 mcg because my Endo doesn't want to make my anxiety/insomnia worse.

Dr Scurr's treatment for thyroid coma
Dr Scurr stated she would have been treated with a thyroxine drip, I feel sure the first line of treatment is an injection of
liothyronine
considering how long thyroxine takes to be effective. Are the NHS now instructing doctors to deny the existence of
liothyronine
?

Liothyronine from Germany?
It’s been a while since I posted. I’ve been under a lovely Endo on the NHS for about 7 months and have gradually increased t4 from 100 to 125mcg daily. TSH now down to near the bottom of the range, t4 20+, t3 still a stubborn 3.7, up from 3.6! (Full numbers on my profile) Endo has been great, very honest

Is it safe to have a PET-scan with hypothyroidism (and diabetes type 1)?
I also have hypothyroidism for which I take levo and
liothyronine
, and diabetes type 1 treated with an insulin pump. The reumatologist always diagnosed it as osteoarthritis. On x-rays and MRI's made in May 2018 it does not look like osteoarthritis at all.

Cost needed for sourcing in the UK
Hi, I have been taking three and a half 25mcg
Liothyronine
for some time, and 50mcg Levo for quite some time. My source in Cyprus has ceased trading.

T3 low medication?
My T3 is low doc wants me to go on
liothyronine
25mcg I’m already on levothyroxine 100mcg my T4 is bit high so he wants to reduce this to 75mcg. Is this low dose of Liothronine? Is this any good? Wants me to take 3 doses every 4/6 hours? Did mention NDT but he said dosage was difficult to achieve?

Fatigue, Depression & ADHD
I began taking
Liothyronine
at 10mcg/day but it did cause some anxiety so have since cut down to 5mcg/day. I was really hoping that regulating the thyroid would help with my debilitating fatigue, which I think is caused by a combo of anxiety, depression, ADHD.

Medications for increasing Free T3 and side effects?
Has anyone taken Cytomel or
Liothyronine
and are there side effects? How long does one know if it is working? My dr feels with my history of insomnia and anxiety that I am not a candidate for a T3 medication.

Which thyroid meds get good results and achieve optimal well-being
Hi I just posted recently about not having stable tsh on nutri thyroid and wondered what other people are trying instead of NHS medication as I was on
liothyronine
until I became sensitive to the only brand they would prescribe me and also very ill on levo so I started to look into supplements and alternative

Reaction to t3 Mercury Pharma
So my recent post was what happened when I took
liothyronine
, which was really scary. I don’t think it was an allergic response as I suffer various allergic symptoms due to high histamines levels building up in my body.

Diagnosis Hashimotos Based On Antibodies Only
Doctor started me on
Liothyronine
5mg 2xday. I almost immediately had the anxiety, pounding heart, shaking hands. It was very uncomfortable. Doctor told me to discontinue and see what happens. I stopped two days ago, and am no longer having the symptoms I was having.

Liothyronine dose reduction?
I’m wondering if my dose of 60mcgs of
Liothyronine
a day is now too much because I’ve lost almost a stone. Is it possible I could need a dose reduction?

Recent visit to endocrinologist at Barnsley Hospital.
So I’ve recently seen a endo and she was pleasant enough but very poor knowledge about
Liothyronine
. She simply said the full affects on the body are not known and that Levothyroxine is adequate treatment for underactive thyroid conditions.

Follow on from visit to hospital thread.
So I’ve taken my first 10 mcg tablet of
liothyronine
and I’ve just had the ambulance team round as I’ve reacted to the tablet. So I took half the tablet and within seconds of taking it my body went hot inside, a bit like when your injected with x ray solution.
