Since Jan 2nd this year I’ve lost thirteen pounds on the SW diet. I was 10 stone 12 and now I’m 9 stone 13.
For the last week or so, I’ve woken up at night feeling revved up and with a faster than usual heartbeat.
I’m wondering if my dose of 60mcgs of Liothyronine a day is now too much because I’ve lost almost a stone. Is it possible I could need a dose reduction?

I am not medically qualified but there's no harm in trying a small reduction in your dose. I'd reduce by 1/4 tablet and allow sufficient time for the reduction to take effect. One of our Advisers (now deceased) always recommended a 1/4 tablet increase every two weeks when trying to get to an optimum dose for patient, (i.e. relieving all symptoms) so maybe the reverse could work for you too.
I've been hypothyroid for about 37 years and on T4 (75mcg) with T3 (20mcg) for the last 17. For all that time, I've found it very hard to sleep when losing weight. I haven't needed to change dose with weight change, though. Maybe worth having blood tests before adjusting dose?
