Shocking Video from Prof Karim Meeran
Prof Meeran arranged a petition about the price of
liothyronine
and other medicines. Here is a video he made for presentation to medical colleagues I agree with the comment below the video - T3 should not be used in primary hyperthyroidism!

Liothyronine change!
I’ve just received a letter from my GP practice saying I’m being moved from the
liothyronine
tablets to the capsules😤the problem I have with that is I’m currently taking 15mcg of the tablet form,I half a 10mcg tablet, does the capsules come in a 5mcg form?

Roseway labs for Liothyronine 20mcg Thybon Henning. So helpful.
came here to post what an amazing experience iv had with roseways labs for above brand of T3. I have loads of allergics. They are making up my T3 withiut lactose on drs prescribed request. I can then choose filler (rice or cellulose, cellulose seems better for me) can choose capsule to be gelatin or

Help on Liothyronine
Hello, I have just seen a private consultant and he has prescribed me with
Liothyronine
to complement the Levothyroxine I take. He told me to get it abroad as it is very expensive here.

Re my earlier post about Morningside Liothyronine 20mcg.
I’ve been back to my local pharmacy this afternoon and they still don’t have this in. I then learned that they are not actually “out of stock” but that the price of 20mcg tablets has short up so there is a ban on ordering them. I was quoted £165 for Morningside and £80 for Teva and £80 for Accord.

NHS Prescribing Protocol For T3 - Advice Needed
Finally got given a prescription by my NHS endocrinologist for
liothyronine
in July. Put the prescription request in to my GP surgery at the start of this week, along with a copy of the letter from the endo confirming I'd been given it for 3 months and asking them to take over the prescribing.

endocrinologist who has listened to me.
my endocrinologist has decided to give me a 6 month trial of
liothyronine
5mg and lowered my levothyroxine from 100 to 75 . I haven’t started yet as only just got the prescription. Is anyone else on both and has it helped? Thank you

Self medicating advice
I am on 100mg Levothyroxine and i still feel tired and no energy, I am wondering if I should just stop the 100mg Levothyroxine and try 12.5mg or 25mg of T3
Liothyronine
or combine T4 and T3? TSH is .1.66, T4 18.

Weight gain after running out of meds - can anyone help me explain this?
I take quite a lot, 160mcg of
liothyronine
per day, but it has been genuinely life changing. During that period I’ve lost about 2 stone, nothing drastic but there’s been a clear pattern of losing between 0.5lb and 1lb per week.

Liothyronine trial
I’ve now been prescribed
liothyronine
, 10mcg per day, 2x5mcg. I’m just wondering should I be taking the first one alongside Levothyroxine or wait an hour after. Does a fine have any positive experiences of combination medication? Thank you.

Liothyronine and histamine sensitivity
Hi everyone. I am having trouble getting my levo and lio amounts right and will post on that separately to ask advice, please, but I also have another concern which I would very much appreciate your help with. I wondered if anyone could help with regard to what I think is a histamine intolerance/sensitivity

liothyronine gluten and lactose free
hi, I’ve been doing really well on T3 only. I’ve been taking cytomel and sigma pharma which have been working really well and I finally feel well again :) Unfortunately it’s now impossible to get hold of cytomel due to shortages. I’m currently taking Tiromel but feel crap due to the lactose fillers.

Blood test results
I’m on 50 mcg levothyroxine and 10 mcg
Liothyronine
(taken as 5 mcg twice daily). My TSH levels are low and TPA very high. Is this normal on combination therapy? While I feel better on this regime I cannot lose the extra weight I am carrying - currently a stone overweight - which is depressing.

GP panic!
In recent months my GP spontaneously started providing
liothyronine
60mcg/day. I wasn't about to object! I have just had a general blood test at the GP. They have asked to see me because they believe I am overmedicated. I strongly suspect the GP has seen the suppressed TSH and panicked.
