Pharmacist who has been dispensing my liothyronine says it is too expensive to continue.
Panic has set in as it took me weeks to find another pharmacist who would dispense
liothyronine
when I had a huge prescription from my consultant to tide me over his enforced absence.

I currently take Levothyroxine 125 mcgs and
Liothyronine
10 mcgs. I had my blood test at 9.25am and did not take any medication before, which surprises me why the results are so high (I take my medication at 6.10 am each day).

Liothyronine 5mcg in EU
I checked the Helvella document trying to find where in EU one can get 5mcg
liothyronine
. It seems ACE pharmaceuticals in the Netherlands are the only producers.

Meeting Endo tomorrow…
I’ve had some test results back today as above and wonder if I can still push to keep having
liothyronine
(I do feel better on it even though I’m only on 10mg) He recommended I drop my levo from 75 to 50 as my Tsh is suppressed. That change was made yesterday.

Cytomel Ace Liothyronine
I’ve been doing great on Cytomel Ace and Sigma pharm but recently it’s very hard to get hold of in the U.K. does anyone know U.K. pharmacy’s that sell 25.mcg of Cytomel Ace. I have lactose and gluten intolerance so this is the only one I can tolerate. Many thanks :)

The Liothyronine trial is taking place now
It is available to view on the competition appeal tribunal website of the CMA. It is complicated and likely to go on for some time. Of course I think the fine against the drug companies involved with the price hike of Lio should stand!

New to me GP gives me hope
He asked who put me onto
Liothyronine
and when I told him the Consultant he knew her. I've asked if I can see him again as he was so easy to hear and communicate with but I'm hoping that I don't have to as I'm feeling well.

Serum vs. tissue T3 levels
A petite female, 51 kilos, I am currently split-dosing a T3
liothyronine
generic: 37.5 mcg at 7:30 a.m. (before breakfast), 37.5 mcg at 1:30 p.m., and 12.5 mcg at 7:30 p.m. An increase in dosage beyond 37.5 mcg at a time makes me feel shaky.

Has anybody noticed activation of HPA axis with liothyronine use ?
Therefore the question - have you ever noticed ACTH/HPA activation with
liothyronine
or slightly supraphysiological doses of thyroid hormones?

Liothyronine supply
For those of us fortunate enough to have been prescribed lio, a word of warning. I’ve now been waiting 3 weeks for my prescription to be filled by the hospital pharmacy, still on a trial. I’ve been told that there is a hold up at the ports, also that the fact that is an “unlicensed drug “? is slowing
