Gastritis confusion
I was diagnosed with gastritis via endoscopy a week ago. Waiting for biopsy results but dr said it didnt look too bad in there. He prescribed me omeperazole but I was hesitant to take it because of all I read on here about low stomach acid. So here is the confusion... Am I to assume automatically

Guillain Barre syndrome
Hi all I am having a very bad day. I just read about Guillain Barre syndrome and am now worried that I may have that. I have had tons of blood tests, do have iron deficiency anemia, feel that I have a B12 deficiency because I had been supplementing with B12 orally for years and I still came up with

Help Assessing Results - Low T3, Low Folate
Hi all, first post for me, and what a wonderful and supportive forum this is. So happy I found it. I’m hoping some of the experienced thyroid analysts could come out and offer their thoughts on my blood work. My Dr. flagged a few things, among which was low T3, and low folate, and said some conventional

Seroquel has stopped IBS and cramping!
I no longer have to take
Levsin
or Bentyl four times a day. I no longer have intestinal spasming or the feeling of "incomplete" movements and don't strain like I used to. I am hoping I can finally stop laxatives. (Senna..once a week). This med is a miracle pill..

Bypass surgery burning, nausea from Amiodarone
My mother had double bypass for AFIB in May 2018. Her surgery was successful but not with some complications. She had two ablations done prior to the bypass. Both being on 4/7/2017 and 11/13/2017. The first ablation procedure was stopped due to a wire nicking an artery. The second was a success. The

Betaine with pepsin
I’ve just got some betaine as recommended by Dr Izabella Wentz. It says to take one capsule with every meal - does anyone know if there’s any interactions with T3 as I’ll be taking one with breakfast and hour after my T3 dose. Also has anyone any experience with betaine with pepsin that has helped improve

Does anyone take "Magnesium Citrate Calm" for severe and chronic IBS-C..has it helped?
Now the smallest meal, I cramp (lower abdominal..
Levsin
, peppermint oil, and Bentyl do little to help). Have been to two Gastroenterologists..a waste of time, have me some awful drug Linzess. Have another visit scheduled August 30th, supposedly he has a 5 star rating and very reputable.

Slowly giving up.
Ok so after my recent post about the NDT seeming to do nothing to help and the mass of supplements I've been taking ( seemingly at wrong doses or unnecessarily) I came to a huge decision. I've literally stopped the lot! I can't get any help from my doctor as I've tried and he's useless and now my head

Hi everyone! Im new to the site so I apologies if i do anything wrong. I was finally diagnosed with Endometriosis near the end of 2017 and have finally gotten to a Gyno in Feb 2018. Before jumping straight into surgery she opted to try and manage the pain with the Levlen pill. I am also to skip all sugar

Are my pins and needles, congestion and heartburn related to my pernicious anaemia?
HI. I have been diagnosed with P.A. for 13 years. My only initial symptom was tiredness but as my father also had P.A. I was tested and found to have low B12 levels and antibodies to parietal cells and have since been on 3 monthly injections. I now also test positive for antibodies to intrinsic factor

Positive Pepsin test
Hi all Received a positive Pepsin test today from an online company, which said I had high levels of Pepsin in my salvia in the last week. I've been on esomeperzole since July last year and nortriptyline (for esophageal dysmobility) since early last year too. All of my tests so far (and I've been thoroughly

New Thyroid Results - Need Advice
Hello all, I had blood work done yesterday (full panel thyroid and ferritin). I have scheduled an appointment with my new doctor next week regarding the test results. What do you guys think? My TSH has jumped from 5.5 last year to 9 this year! I definitely feel like I am running on fumes. I still haven't
