Urine odor?
It seems to come and go and seems dependent on if I have taken
levodopa
/carbidopa that day. I know that one of the side effects can be a darkening of the urine but I can't find anything relating to smell. Anyone else experience this?

Actipatch?
I do get relief from a combination of Tramadol and
levodopa
/cardidopa. I hate taking the latter because I hate how it makes me feel. Recently I came across a device for pain management called Actipatch.

My experience with a keto diet
His take on it was that worsening of the symptoms was related to protein competing with
levodopa
absorption. When glucose is not present, body looks at protein as a next energy resource as fat digestion requires more energy (9 kcal fat vs 4 Kcal protein).

Freezing In Motion
Since I have not seen any posts about this type of behavior, I am wondering if this could actually be more from the carbidopa-
levodopa
than a PSP symptom. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dorie

CITICOLIN and neurotransmitters
Sounds like you can reduce the amount of
levodopa
that you're taking and still get very good results or better. If you search for" excellent review of neurotransmitters..". Should come up I tried posting the thread and it didn't take.

Morning dystonia
Does anyone have a solution for morning dystonia caused by
levodopa
. Someone suggested nepro patch can help. I have to wait to take Sinemet which although causes it also stops it. So I have to wait an,hour or two every morning with this awful till I can take first Sinemet.

Apomorphine Sublingual Film Passes Phase lll Trial - New Option to Smooth "Off" Troughs
"Sunovion Pharmaceuticals’ below-the-tongue version of a Parkinson’s therapy was able to ease patients’ movement difficulties after the standard therapy
levodopa
wore off, a Phase 3 clinical trial showed. "Apomorphine, also known as APL-130277, works by mimicking dopamine’s activity in the brain.

PD and getting sick from a massage
Was given carbadopa/
levodopa
and in two weeks was back running my marathons ect. Of course things are progressing and I have dystonia on my left side and some cervical dystonia too. I receive Botox on my left leg and foot every 3 months which helps too.

Will taking mucuna pruriens (instead of Sinemet) prevent peripheral neuropathy?
Is the peripheral neuropathy a side effect of Carbidopa, or a reaction to the downtime from Sinemet? My friend had been using Mucuna Pruriens, but I recently discovered it only contained 15% L-dopa and would like to get a higher grade, maybe 98% though I wonder if a 40% powder or capsule would work better

Talk about Doom and Gloom!
There do seem to be some cases of PWP who had the disease and went on
levodopa
, only to successfully turn things around, so I guess that JHW can't be right (Bianca Molle, John Coleman), but I feel disturbed by the declaration.

Getting Mucuna from USA to UK
Has anyone in the UK ordered large quantities of 98% L-dopa, for example 1kg from the States? Did it get to the UK ok? Worried that bigger quantities might not make it through customs (not that there is any reason for this)... postage is free if you do get the larger sizes, so we'd like to do this.
