Has anyone in the UK ordered large quantities of 98% L-dopa, for example 1kg from the States? Did it get to the UK ok? Worried that bigger quantities might not make it through customs (not that there is any reason for this)... postage is free if you do get the larger sizes, so we'd like to do this.
Any reassurance much appreciated, once again!

Certainly 500g has worked in the past. Sometimes there is a customs charge, sometimes not. Smaller quantities probably attract less attention.
I keep about a year’s supply as a safety buffer (1200g), but purchase it in smaller amounts. Also try some when using a new supplier so’s not to get a fright when you use it a year down the road.
How would I start to incorporate Mucuna into my daily regimen? I was diagnosed 6 yrs ago am 63 and my challenges are around non- motor symptoms. I take Sinemet 100/25 2 tabs every 2-3 hrs but wears off quickly. And I take long acting 1 tab 200/50 at bedtime and nothing else during the night.
I'm also taking several supplements from naturopath. My neurologist doesn't support my wanting to take Mucuna.
Why not order from Combatore in India? We are in US and ordered from there.
I'm from Aus not UK but have ordered lots of powders from China in the past. Only one was ever stopped by customs, as I saw it on the tracking, they rang me, and once the packaged arrived it had been opened, then resealed with customs tape that said "opened for inspection". I guess they open it, get a small amount of powder, and then test that it is not an illegal drug. Once it comes back clear they just seal it back up, and send it on its way. Most of the time it will not even be inspected though. And in Aus if the total value of the package is less than 1000$ then there is no customs fees or duties. Over that amount then there is fees.
