Carbidopa Levodopa absorption may be delayed by eating fiber with dose. Would delays cause bigger problems with Continuous Release?
Have been researching Carbidopa levodopa and found reference to other meds , supplements, vitamins, DELAYING the release of meds, especially those with fluctuating blood pressure or constipation. Switching to extended release without knowing that led me to increase dose with IR bridge. Overdose of CL

Quercetin/Bromelain & EGCG as Carbidopa and Encatapone substitutes?
Has anyone had any luck with this as a protocol suggested on this site? My husband takes Mucuna L-dopa 98% and was looking for something that he hoped would help the effects last longer than 2.5-3hrs (occasionally longer, when taken on an almost empty stomach). We haven't seen any difference as yet and

Entacapone
Hi I was weaned off Mirapexin due to spending issues and weaned on Entacapone. My partner said my mood swings on this were awful. I never felt lime me and felt mad and aggressive as if I wanted to murder someone!! Hence I've stopped it completely. Has anyone else had similar problems?? Only problem now

Had to fall back on Rx Sinemet for 2days&Mental focus poor
My shipment of natural sourced levodopa was a couple days later coming in than I anticipated and I had to fall back into using synthetic carbidopa/levodopa. I drove to a restaurant and place an order and then realized I didn’t have my wallet . I walked out to the car didn’t have keys in my pocket .

Tried most everything
. I have had RLS for over 12 years. In the beginning, I could walk around the house or elevate my legs on the couch and the movements would stop and I could sleep. Now I take Ropinirole (Requip),Carbidopa levodopa, and clonazepam. I suffer beyond belief but have found some relief in the Relaxis

CBD--questions about Thiamine/B1 & Levodopa. . and what we could try?
Have any of you heard of the high-dose B-1/Thiamine treatment that people are talking about on the Parkinson's Board--there's a mention that the doctor directing it, Dr. Constantini in Italy has an even higher-dose protocol for treating CBD (scroll down--if my link works!--to #30). https://healthunlocked.com

Frequent urination, every 20 minutes
Out of nowhere, starting last night at bedtime, my husband started needing to urinate multiple times an hour! Like 2-3 times EVERY hour, sometimes almost too urgent to make it. So he's been up for more than 36 hours, it continued during the day. We called the neurologist to ask if this was a CBD/Parkinson's
