Quercetin/Bromelain & EGCG as Carbidopa and Encatapone substitutes?

Has anyone had any luck with this as a protocol suggested on this site? My husband takes Mucuna L-dopa 98% and was looking for something that he hoped would help the effects last longer than 2.5-3hrs (occasionally longer, when taken on an almost empty stomach).

We haven't seen any difference as yet and have been doing it for about 3 weeks. Any helpful tips or advice much appreciated.

Quercetin/Bromelain & EGCG, plus salmon oil and vitamin C are substitutes for Carbidopa. Search HU for Mucuna Pruriens and you will find a lot of information. Good luck!

What is EGCG? I've seen a couple references to it and have not heard of it. Thanks for your help!

EGCG is considered to be the main active component derived from green tea. It is Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).

It is a very interesting substance for health as outlined in many studies. One of the main drawbacks is that it can cause liver damage in some people at higher dosing. I use it myself for another health issue.
