Im in a state at mo,just had lovely chat with RA consultant who wants me to take
leflunomide
with steroids i declined these ,along side my metho and stop hydroxy. Im worrying as

Lung problems?
I’ve been on mtx since Jan, and
Leflunomide
since April for PsA. In combination they’ve done a lot to ease things, although I’m still not fully under control yet.

Rheumatology appointment cancelled
Hi, I had an appointment booked to start on
leflunomide
on 16th June, it has been cancelled. My last one had as well due to the covid situation. I'm really struggling though, they put me on steroids for 8 weeks but only 10mg for 4 weeks then 5mg for 4 weeks.

Leflunomide and sore throat.
Has this happened to anyone? Not sure if the drug or not. Will take again today to confirm. Wondered if this had happened to you whether it was a side effect that wore off. P.S. I know it's on the side effect list but not so severe that I need to seek guidance today. P.P.S Will it ever end! Am beginning

Newbie
Started on mtx straight away, but they’d started me on pred over Christmas whilst waiting to be seen and I ended up stuck on it for almost 4 months - I couldn’t successfully stop it at all until they added
leflunomide
in at the start of April.

Out with MTX and in with Leflunomide!
So starting

A sincere thank you
However, I haven’t been taking my biologics and
leflunomide
since the beginning of February - due to being off them before surgery and then infection afterwards, so that’s not really unexpected, to me? Anyway, that you all so very much for listening to my moaning and your advice and support.

Blood Testing
After radio silence from rheumatoid nurse since before lockdown, rang consultant's office and finally advised that I need to continue with blood tests - on Imraldi and
Leflunomide
. Thankfully booked at GP's when I have to take my husband for his appointment.

Stockpiling
Also got two months worth of AA and
Leflunomide
and one month of Apixapan. GPtold me last week that they were issuing double prescriptions to help local pharmacy cope when the expected peak in our area arises. Saves me having to reorder for a while but does seem a bit excessive.

Injecting mtx 😬
The reason he increased the mtx was because I’m getting the skin side effects and worsened post nasal drip etc. since I started
leflunomide
, so he doesn’t want to increase that, even though it was only when the lef was added in that I saw any improvement at all and managed to get off steroids: I would

Leflunomide and blood pressure
The Rheumatoligist feels that the blood pressure spike is not necessarily anything to do with the
Leflunomide
as I hadn't been taking it for long enough - but I can't help feeling it must be.

Biologic Hyrimoz (adalimumab) worked for 2 months, then stopped working.
My doctor had told me to restart
leflunomide
as well and see if this helps. I am also on prednisolone and hyroxycholoroquine.

Nothing to do with Covid-19, just something extra to help with other health issues.
