sulfasalazine or leflunomide
Hi all, Mtx didn’t suit me so my consultant mentioned these 2 to add to the hcq I already take. Hands are playing up badly again so know I need something else. I’d like some idea what to expect from these and if one may be better side effect wise than the other? Thanks everyone, ss

Methotrexate
I've only tried
leflunomide
in the past but that raised my liver result and was stopped. I'm still currently on steroids which will end the beginning of July. I'm worried if I have to change meds there will be a period of delay in ending steroids and the new meds working.

I've been on
Leflunomide
for 18 months. I've never had a nose bleed. I do have low WBC though.

06/04/2021 - Stopping leflunomide today
Stop
leflunomide
I told her to do the best for me as she is the best person to know what is the best thing to do for me. She chose 2 and told me to continue with
leflunomide
again if I do flare in future. She said that this is the process to further reduce DMARDs for me.

Leflunomide side effect?
I've been taking 10 mg of
leflunomide
daily for two months. The bottoms of my feet feel swollen and sore. Is this the beginning of peripheral neuropathy? My doctor recommended doubling the dose, which I declined. She didn't answer the question about neuropathy risk.

Could lung problems be caused by R.A. medication?
I have also been taking
Leflunomide
but have also been off that. I take Hydroxychlorquine and Prednisolone as well as various other tablets that are not for R.A.

Imraldi wearing out.
I take
leflunomide
everyday and imraldi injection once a fortnight. For the last few months I've started getting RA pains on around day 9 meaning that it wears off sooner than it used to. Does anyone else have this? I was asked before if I wanted to change onto ritixamub (Sorry if spelt wrong).

Anyone know if CBD is OK to take with
leflunomide
and sulfasalazine? I’ve just started have a cup of CBD herb tea every day and am sleeping so much better. But a medical friend I mentioned this to said to check it was compatible.

Methotrexate & feeling sick remedy (works for me)
I've got to be honest it's worked a treat, previously I was still taking cyclazine for up to 5 days - 3 times a day, I've only had to take it as he suggested, I have felt slightly sick on odd days since which passes pretty quick but this could also be the introduction of
leflunomide
& prednisolone x

Tapering-Leflunomide and low dose Pred.
Further to my post a couple of weeks ago when I questioned my doctor's Pred tapering plan...
