Leflunomide cholestyramine wash out. Please help!
I was prescribed cholestyramine 4g sachets today by my GP on the advice of my rheumatologist as a washout treatment. My gp only had available to him the dosage for general treatment using cholestyramine (1 sachet a day for a week then 2 sachets a day for week etc.) not washout dosage. He asked me to

Leflunomide
I had some more tests done in clinic a month ago and now they want me to go on
Leflunomide
. Can anyone tell me if this comes in injection form as my stomach does not tolerate pills, plus does it have the same side affect as methotrexate and has anyone benefited from changing from one to the other.

Anyone able to give some advice?
I have tried methotrexate, Sulphasalazine, mycrophenolate and
Leflunomide
and each time due to adverse reactions I have to stop, wait for months before starting again. It has come to the point with no improvement in my condition I feel I am no longer able to continue working.

Small fiber neuropathy
I thought it might be the
Leflunomide
I was put on in November but rheumy says no and this has been suggested. I go to hospital on the first of April to discuss this but any help would be great. Thanks

Fingers locking over
I'm now on plaquenil and
leflunomide
. I'm feeling a bit better however my fingers are still swollen and I struggle with opening bottles and various things. Recently certain fingers lock over when I'm doing something and I have to pull them out of it, the pain makes me feel sick!

Leflunomide blood test results
I am now wondering if the problem I have been having since starting
Leflunomide
with worsening Restless Leg Syndrome and difficulty getting to sleep is due to the low levels of hb as I know that iron levels are linked to RLS. Anyone else had this problem?

Slightly embarrassing side effect of Leflunomide
I have been on
Leflunomide
for 2 months now and it is working well. However I now have the side effect of loose bowels ( sorry I hope you are not eating your tea as you read this ) and have to "go" about 4 times a day.

Can I take Alendronic Acid later in the day?
As I take
leflunomide
also, it means a full hour and a half to wait. I am waiting for the result of of a dexascan. Two years ago I was Osteopaenic in one hip (-1.5). I was dx with GCA in Jan 2013 and have got down to 9.5mg Pred. Has anyone found a way around taking AA on waking?

Any advice please?
They asked me to read up on Sulfasalazine and
Leflunomide
so assuming they may put me on one of them. Has anyone taken them and how did any of them affect you? Was there any awful side effects ? Would be grateful for any replies xx

Leflunomide working but a bit of a problem
I have been on
Leflunomide
for nearly 8 weeks and it's doing a great job. Feel so much better now. However the last few days I have suffered with an uncomfortable stomach shortly after taking my tablet. No pain as such but more of a feeling of indigestion and bloating.

What to do?
He wants to try
Leflunomide
, but I have rather high or erratic blood pressure even taking my meds, so he's not willing to do this unless my blood pressure can be better controlled. The final thing he did say was that it is probably diabetic neuropathy and my fibromyalgia causing these symptoms.
