Can anyone Offer Solutions To This
I tried cola, kiwis, linseed, movicol, bisocodyl, and various
laxatives
and self help regimes. It feels like there is gravel in my rectum yet it is in no rush to come out. Any ideas gratefully received. Regards Dev

IBS-C
Evey time I go to the Dr, they prescribe me with
laxatives
which I try to take however, I have issues with swallowing medicine as medicine in general makes me feel sick. I can’t swallow tablets at all so any medication I have is soluble.

Does anyone else feel guilty?
Used
laxatives
etc etc. Everytime I think things are getting better and I “forget about the issue” we seem to every have 2/3 days of dirty pants multiple times a a day. He’s due back at school next week and I feel awful because he’s not clean for the teachers.

Does this sound familiar??
I don’t have consistent pain or constipation any longer but that’s only because I’ve been on
laxatives
/stool softeners for the last few weeks with a range of health supplements which seems to be helping.

Graphic photos but I need opinions could this be Crohn's or Colitis?
I got so backed up I had to take
laxatives
. This constipation and pain has been a real issue lately to the point I can barely eat without feeling like I just sat and had three meals in one sitting.

Bulimia, laxatives and IBS also using finger to aid going toilet.
I have been stuck in a vicious cycle of binging and purging with my awful bulimia over the years, not taking in much nutrients and boozing a lot over the years. I’m changing things around as I’m tired mentally and physically of the eating disorder, and generally want to not cause my health to get to

New here: prolapsed rectum and straining to do soft poos??
We had an US scan yesterday and there was no impaction or problems spotted but she said he might benefit from some
laxatives
in case there is some constipation.

Advice/tips for 3.5yo stool withholding?
After starting him on
laxatives
which is indeed allowing him to have regular bowel movements, he has thankfully stopped wetting himself, but he is incredibly anxious when he feels a poo is coming; he will cross his legs, bring his legs to his chest, face will get red and will absolutely say "no no no

Fingers blue stains and itching lower spin, prickly back and eyes?
As I have been discharged from liver dept although have constant burning in bile duct area, especially with Vit C or ascorbic acid when I take
laxatives
everyday. I think my bile duct has infection, due to burning pain? Does anyone else get this or feel bile duct infection?

Do I have colon cancer? *WARING GRAPHIC PHOTOS*
I was clearly constipated so I took some
laxatives
and I was able to poop that day. I've been eating small meals ever since then so I've only been pooping once a day.

Endo Revenge - adhesions are blocking my bowel, any alternatives to laxatives as a longer term option?
My consultant called me last week to say my bowel is so narrow that I now need to take prescribed
laxatives
daily for anything to pass. I said I already have diarrhoea, which he said was 'overflow'?

Doubling Flare after 7 days of Casodex and 1 day of Zolodex
I'm so confused since he's doing so much better, dropping the amount of meds, got through impacted bowels from upping the meds and not quickly enough taking the
laxatives
needed. He's now having regular stools on Senna-S. I need to think this through.

Not ibs. Something else
I did diets, tablets,
laxatives
. I got sick of it and really had to push and fight for a referral. At the start of this year I seen a consultant gastroenterologist after having a proctogram it turns out my issues are to do with a rectocele with an obstruction.

How I overcame IBS-D
Firstly, they are
laxatives
and will give you diarrhoea (sodium phosphate was once used to prepare patients for colonoscopies!). Secondly, they are associated with cardiovascular disease and accelerated aging.
