How can I get him to ask for a wee!?

Hi. How can I help my 3.5 year old to ask for a wee?? He is on laxatives for two withholding and now poos daily in his nappy in the evening well more or less daily. We started training end of January and he's still having accidents and not asking to go hardly ever. He has of just started to have full we accidents though and I don't know why! Any help would be appreciated

Are you just giving him a nappy in the evening when he is due a bm, or is he still wearing nappies all the time?

He just wears nappies at bed time so he does poos at bed time.
