Laparoscopy hasn’t helped! Next steps?
I’m 27 and been suffering for years with endo pain and suspected bowel endo (and even possible bladder endo!). I’ve had scans that always came back normal until I went private and the endo specialist did the scan which showed left ovary stuck high in and backwards in pelvis suspected to my colon along

IBS, possibly menopause, any advice
It got so bad ( the abdominal pain ) that I eventually sought help, it took a few years of repeated doctor visits and hospital visits, a
laparoscopy
along with internal scans and a sigmoidoscopy to be told IBS, reduce stress and read a book about it and change my eating habits.

First gynaecology appointment
He then said it's probable that I have endometriosis but that we can't be sure without a
laparoscopy
(which I knew might be the case from reading everyone's experiences on here). But he said I have three options. 1.

Emergency admission for partially ruptured endometrioma
After, many days of hum-ha-ing, an emergency
laparoscopy
found a fist sized, partially ruptured endometrioma. The ovary had fused to my bowel and pelvis and so it could not be removed. It was drained and my pelvis washed out.

Hi, I’m due to have
laparoscopy
surgery tomorrow for endometriosis but I have just started my period, does anyone know if this will delay my surgery or if it can still go ahead please?

First period after laparoscopy
I had a
laparoscopy
2 weeks ago for stage 3 endo removal and cyst removal. I am currently on my first period. I had read lots of stories of it being worse, awful pain, heavy bleeding etc.

Endo journey
I had my
laparoscopy
done, was sent for an MRI. Now I’m starting all over again with a new consultant, they said I’d been referred to them because the general team requested the specialist take me on.

Treatment Options??
I've had scans etc and had
laparoscopy
surgery for the endo but ablation not excision due to other medical conditions. I am in more pain than ever now with no sign of relief. It's affecting my whole life and career and I'm not sure what other treatment options are available?

Endometriosis diagnosis - recommendations for specialists
I saw a BSGE specialist earlier in the year as I read that they were the experts The specialist said that I would only need a
laparoscopy
if I was giving up on IVF and trying naturally. He was not interested in carrying out an MRI either.

Pre op and thank you
As long as that goes okay, I will be given a date very shortly after for the
laparoscopy
. Originally I had a 70 week wait but my gp expedited it 🙏I just to thank you all for all of your advice and support. I can't tell you how much it has meant to me. You are all wonderful 💕

Tired and miserable
, I had a
laparoscopy
on January that confirmed how severe the endo is, my gyna said it has spread to my bowels, and one of my fallopian tube is damaged.

Consultant won’t operate for pain.
He explained that unless I was trying to conceive, they wouldn’t consider performing a
laparoscopy
for diagnosis or pain relief, as the
laparoscopy
is used (according to this clinic) only to create a window of opportunity for conception. I was furious.

At my wits end 😢
Due to the pain the consultant decided to do a
laparoscopy
to remove it but it burst. After another scan a few months later they told me I had a fybroid but they couldn't do anything about it until after my baby was born.

Feeling lost
Had my second
laparoscopy
in a year a couple of days ago and things aren’t making sense to me. My first surgery I was told I had little endometriosis and that they’d removed the adhesions.

I haven’t had my endometriosis confirmed by lap yet, I’m awaiting mri and I’m on a 2 year wait list for
laparoscopy
surgery after 8 nearly 9 years of waiting to be somewhat listened to- I had my first gynae app on the 16th and was told I could use contraceptive to help the affects until my lap (in 2

Worried about Laproscopy
After a slightly frustrating appointment with my gynae consultant I am quite apprehensive about undergoing a
laparoscopy
by someone who isn’t an endo specialist as I’ve heard endo often isn’t found by those who are specialists.

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

Constipation
I've been diagnosed with endo through
laparoscopy
4 years ago. Sever endo, on bowels, womb, old adhesios on the back of my stomach... Had to go through IVF, then I got pregnant, and pregnant again. Now I'm breastfeeding a 3 month old.
