Back pain
I had a virus at Christmas that went on for some time, it's left me feeling very tired with little energy. The arthritis has flared up so I've been very sore everywhere. I saw my Dr on Monday & he thinks that the virus has stirred things up so gave me a steroid injection. I really hoped it would work

Hi everyone, I'm a new member of Asthma uk, but a lifetime Asthmatic!. I've got severe, brittle Asthma and am on the full range of meds. I'm 33, married and have an 11 yr old son. Usually I can cope OK-ish, with the bad chests, infections and a bit of chest pain, but I've now got a BAD chest infection

Things are just going from bad to worse!!!!!
I can't go in to great detail as it's only just happened, but friday, I had a car accident, some idoit decided to drive towards me on the worng side of the road, and it's touch and go if the car's going to be written off, police called etc, looks like they are going to do the other driver for wreckless

I've had a ca125 and awaiting a transabdominal uss after being told that the structure of a cyst doesn't look normal
I began my symptoms between may and Sept 2011, absent periods, fullness, distended abdomen, tiredness, constant back pain. I went to my gp and was referred for an uss. The result showed a cyst on my left vary and a bulky right vary. I was then referred to gyne. A few days later dysmennorrea and mennorrea

Belfast: its part in my downfall
I love a Belfast Fry - or I did until I went back to being a vegetarian. Somehow, a plate of eggs, beans and hash browns with a dried-up soya sausage and a heap of brown lumps formerly-known-as-mushrooms isn't quite the same. But enough of my yelping, what's Belfast got to do with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Pain Relief...What do you take?
Hi all, just a thought as to what everyone takes for the pain relief? There's so much prescribed at the moment and as we know were all very different with our RA, what suits one may not suit another and son on. Some of you may even use alternative medicine!! Many years ago I remember taking Temgisic

My feet are killing me!
I went to our company Graduation Ceremony last night. It was held in a smart London hotel and I was determined to dress to impress. I haven't worn a dress and heels for about 2 years. Swollen ankles, painful feet and heels are not a good combination. But last night I wore a knee length evening dress
