Non invasive ventilation

hi just wondered is any one had ever used an NIV nippy machine. i have had so many icu admissions latly my consultant has put me on an NIV at night. just wondered if any one else was having this treatment and if it helps because i am having problems getting used to it. i seem to feel more breatless early hours of the morning than i did before starting treatment on it.
