I’m in my early 40 s and have noticed that I’m experiencing what I would say are Perimenopause symptoms (although could probably be thyroid related too!!) Poor sleep, change

Pain medication recommendations for knee & ankle swelling & inflammation
I find that swelling in either of my knees or ankles triggers my RLS. Since I had a knee replacement 6 months ago, the swelling happens frequently as both legs readjust to the post-surgical healing. A new study revealed that ibuprofen and other NAISDS can cause fatal kidney disease, so my GP took me

HRT for fibro? Anyone got experience?
I have severe Fibro and have been bed bound for months with that and covid effects. My GP has suggested HRT - I had a hysterectomy in 2004 so well through the menopause without symptoms. Hello all I have a querie. I am getting hot flushes at 64. Are there many women out there still getting hot flushes at my age? Maybe it's quite common? They are worse than they used to be. Lower dose versus lower frequency of Peg Interferon
On the Facebook MPN Interferon forum today, a member posted that he had been on Peg Interferon 45 every two weeks for two years but was having some problems, so was considering taking a break from it. I replied that, if the Peg was actually working for him, then maybe he should consider a lower dose,

Does anyone else with SLE have leaky heart valves?
Hello everyone, I got a scare on Wednesday when I went for a routine echocardiogram (prior to bunion surgery next week as I said I had a leaky heart valve which had never caused me any problems and was very minor when they first discovered it about 10 years ago. To be safe they said they'd better check

bad news
I had osteoarthritis of the right hip in 2014 and had a full hip replacement with great success. some time after that i began to get back and groin pain and was referred for an MRI. The result was herniated discs and sciatica. I have just recently had another MRI and the result is mild wear and tear,
