Anyone here taking Januvia for type 2 diabetes? I have stage 4 ckd stage and would like to know if anyone has been prescribed with this kind of med when at stage 4 ckd?is it safe for ckd?

Given that I weigh now 320 lbs, am diabetic type II taking Tresiba, Humalog, and Januvia for diabetes; and also have cardiovascular disease (stent plus beginning of CHF), and now Stage III B kidney disease, anemia, and thrombocytopenia, I am not a candidate for a liver or kidney transplant.

I added Januvia, to Metformin and now Insulin daily and eat 100% sugar-free and healthy and still have trouble staying in a healthy range. Good luck to you!

Taking Reclemet 500 mg twice (30 minutes before B/F and dinner) and Januvia 100 mg once 30 minutes before B/F. Along with calcium and multivitamin tablets. My FASTING SUGAR LEVEL was 180 & PP 230, one month back. I started taking LWMDR strictly as per Shooter George's advice.
