Hey friends. I am new to this discussion. Let me thank first all those who are behind this useful group for their efforts. I want to share my experience .I went on a diet of Boiled moong in breakfast .bhune chane as and when hungry within limits and apple and strawberries in fruits and moong again in dinner. To avoid taste fatigue and aversion to same food i used 1% curd in moong different fat free ranches ,some italian ssalad sauce and onions and green dhaniya chatni to make moongs very tasty. within 6 months all my T 2 medicines ,Januvia 50 mg twice and MET 500 2 bid vanished from my routine and I was off sugar and cholesterol medicines. I am a T@ pt. for last 15 years. Regular in exercise In one year I lost 23 kg. weight and from 95 kg I dropped to 73 kg. Just my 2 cents.
