ITP and Pregnancy
I've also read that it's possible for babies born to mothers with ITP to have thrombocytopenia when they are born or in the first couple weeks of life and need treatment with
IVIG
. Thanks for any additional info or personal stories!

Ibrutinib - Joint Pain
I also discontinued
IVIG
treatment 2 months ago, as a result of COVID, might that be a possible reason for the increase in pain (I haven’t seen anything on line that could support this)?

Discontinue IVIG?
When we started IVF treatment this time around, killer cell blood tests showed that my TNF alpha was slightly elevated so Intravenous Immunoglobin (
IVIG
) was recommended which I had before FET.

First ivig this week
Scheduled for first
ivig
on Thursday. My veins like to play hide and seek whenever they are invaded so my lab friends always use a butterfly needle. When I had my transfusion last year after 11 unsuccessful pokes they went down to a 20 needle (I have no idea what that means.

How COVID-19 Has Impacted Clinical Trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
For those on
IVIG
, now would be a good time to ask if you can switch to subcutaneous IgG infusions. You can keep a month or two of IgG in your refrigerator and do the infusions at home.

Could I ask for a little support? Today is the day I have the 5th miscarriage.
I even read about NK cells and
IVIG
but wonder if anyone has any experience? Or these things are all about faith and destiny? I founds some people shared valuable experience having babies in the era before APS diagnosis. I have been reading your comments in this forum and found they are helpful.

She Who must be Obeyed did a course of Intravenous Immuno Gamma Globulin (
IVIG
) a few years back and she has been doing very well for years. Certainly, nothing has been reversed, but nothing has gone forward. Aim for this, set it as your goal. Be the first person who stopped ms.

IVIG infusions - Covid
The guidelines state: Postpone
IVIG
infusions as risk of exposure to COVID19 may outweigh benefit of infusion during pandemic period. Consultant to assess on case by case basis. Consider stopping
IVIG
and give prophylactic antibiotics for 6 months instead.

Post 642 I have been scared 8 May 2020
IVIG
infusions helped her and they have worked for years. I am pretty sure that I feared the pain mostly, and if I could cope another night. Whoever says that there is no pain in RRms is lying or they do not know what they are talking about.

Regarding
ivig
- they have been giving their patients 3 months of antibiotics to see them through this period. Going to the day unit for

may not be possible and too great a risk to all concerned. Those with sc

should make sure they clean it well when it arrives.

***Up all night following an
IVIG
infusion and tired of reading about coronavirus. The latest issue of Science had this article, and I was drawn to the models.

Newly diagnosed after years of problems
I was being treated with
IVIG
during this time, and my flare-ups responded well the
IVIG
. My MRI remained normal. In March of 2018, my flare-ups changed. This time, it involved both legs at once.

Have you had IVIG treatment for immune issues?
I am undecided whether to have
IVIG
prior to transfer or whether to take only once pregnancy is confirmed (given the cost).
IVIG
is not proven and it’s very expensive making my decision about if / when to have it hard. Thanks in advance.

I was diagnosed 8 years ago today
I later had to have additional courses of Rituxan and then we ended up starting monthly
IVIG
a year ago and then IBTNB in April of last year. All I can say is watch your side effects closely and force your physician to help you manage them.

Advise please from anyone who’s had IVIG infusions as part of IVF/FET treatment
When my blood was tested for the best treatment to lower NK cells,
IVIG
was most effective. I have been advised to have an
IVIG
infusion 2 days prior to FET and then 2 weeks following a positive pregnancy test.
