Suspected endo?
Hi all, I’ve been suffering for many years with pain! So I have a 12 year old son and after him I had the mirena coil put in because most pills didn’t work for me I’d bleed really heavy for weeks and be in so much pain, tried the injection also didn’t suit so only option apparently was the coil, 8 years

Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with fibroids a few years ago advised to have the Merina coil fitted. This worked for almost 2 years until I started experiencing very heavy bleeding again. Had a scan that showed the fibroids had grown and that new ones had appeared and that one had pushed the coil out

So I’m 12 days into my 2 weeks wait after my iui and have been doing fine until yesterday when I had one small dot of pink blood and have been having some weird cramps and backache. Due to test on Wednesday any tips on how to stay positive until then when you feel like AF if on her way?

ICD - Unbelievable?
My hospital MD team decided on an ICD. Fitted May 2019. No problems since. Great! Real problem is - I phoned Medtronic to check a reading or two to be sure that it had been working OK. It turns out that the ICD was never ever registered to the hospital! Unprotected by the monitor for two and a half

No period, negative pregnancy test
Hi, just after some advice really. Had the coil removed in dec 2019 to try for a baby (I’m 37). In May this year started with unbearable pains, cramping, excruciating pain during bowel movements. After numerous trips to a&e and my doctor I’m on a “urgent” waiting list to see a gynaecologist as the doctors

Periods stopping(?)
Hey again everyone, Just wanting to ask if anyone has experience of the Mirena and it stopping periods? How long did that take for you? Did you take the coil out instead? I’ve had once since Dec 2019 and was told it usually stops them by about the sixth month mark but I’ve just had significantly more

Has anyone stopped the pill completely for less side effects but not TTC?
Hi all, I had a laparoscopy end of 2016 which removed 'superficial endo' although was definitely in need of the surgery due to the pain. I have tried what feels like every pill on the planet and not got on with any. I now cannot take any oestrogen pills e.g. combined due to getting bad migraines which

Follow up consultation - really bad!
So just had our follow up consultation and we were basically told that we should not do any more IVF/ICSI with our own eggs and sperm as there would be little chance of it working. Basically during the last cycle they could see my eggs were really poor quality and fragmented and also the sperm didn't

Private consultation
Hi, I’ve booked an appointment with a private consultant who specialises in endo . I’m hoping to explore treatment options . I’ve never had a laparoscopy, I was diagnosed through an mri which was to assess an ovarian cyst . I’ve only ever been offered the coil and pain killers. I’m keen to get the

I've grown a GRAPEFRUIT!
Hi everyone. I had an ultrasound today, because I've always had super bad periods since I was young (I'm 38 now) where I bled so heavily and fainted/vomited from the pain. I don't faint now, but the bleeding is heavier, more big clots, unbelievable pain, pain when ovulating, pain when going to the

Pain with a vengeance!
Hey, Haven't written on here for a while, ill shorten my story. October 2018 I was diagnosed with Endometriosis after having a lap done, which they then fitted a mirena coil. Took my body a fair few months to get used to it tbh, I no longer get periods and when I do they aren't blood anymore, just random
