Mild endometriosis removed, what comes next?

I recently had a investigative laparoscopy during which they found mild endometriosis scarring which was removed, I also had the merina coil inserted. I don't have any follow up appointments and my discharge letter says that this is good news. My pain has definitely gotten better whether that's due to the scarring removed or the coil who knows.

But a part of me wonders, what next? Will my scarring come back? Could I still have long term issues? I feel like I've gotten the answer to my pain but nothing else... Do I go back to my doctor or just wait it out?

Basically treatment is for pain/symptoms/infertility so you would go back to a doctor if your life is adversely affected by those issues again. Unfortunately there is no predicting in any one woman whether endo will come back or if there are any other going term effects.

Thanks for your reply. I guess it's just a waiting game again to see what becomes of it all. But for now at least I'm happy that I have an answer and am seeing some improvement
