What is the best diagnosis and management?
Hi everyone, hope you are all well. How effective are the different diagnosis tools for endo? I currently have a 'potential' diagnosis of endo based on symptom pattern and a pelvic ultrasound whereby the transvaginal scan showed reduced movement of the ovary on one side compared to the other. I would

Surgery and blood thinners.
Hi guys this isn't heart related I guess, but just hoped I can get some advice. I have just been told I have a bad Diastasis Recti and the doctor says I need surgery. I haven't had any surgery since being put on blood thinners so am a bit concerned. Also not sure how surgery will react with my ICD. Thanks

Copper. Oil and endometriosis
I’ve recently had the copper coil insterted under reccomendation from my doctor. The pain after having it fitted seems a lot lot worse than it was before it was fitted. Struggling to manage the pain along with heavier bleeding? Had anyone else had the same problem? Looking for any help and support possible

Going for a second opinion?
So it’s been a while since I’ve been on here but since then I had a laparoscopy that was clear apparently. They originally did not want to put me in for a Lap but after months of E.R visits and asking for pain relief after the coil insertion they found a 5cm cyst on my ovary. They told me it was a the

Also, if I want an
IUD
would I have to go to a GYN or could my family doctor do it?

2nd BFN 🙄
Afternoon ladies. OTD is tomorrow but I've got my lunch out with some friends planned so tested today and got another BFN. Disappointed. I've a few decisions to make about what to do next. I've not been happy with the service at my clinic, so started to do some research through HFEA and recommendations

Any experiences of full or partial hysterectomy?
Hi all I’m new to the forum and wondered if there’s anyone who has had a full or partial hysterectomy who is open to sharing their experiences? I’ve had endometriosis for the past 20 years and have had two previous surgeries. The coil gave me a few years break from the symptoms but they have since worsened

From IVF to IUI - anyone had success? Age 40+
As you can see from my profile, I have a son born via ivf when I was age 37. (My husband has Azoospermia and despite MTese etc no sperm avail 😭. Husband’s brother kindly donated sperm, the clinic recommended ivf based on sperm motility ⭐️) Trying to have another child has been an ongoing challenge

Cannot go on
Hello all I hope you are all coping better than myself. Not looking for sympathy or playing the victim card but I am at the end of my rope. Symptoms since Thursday - - extremely tired and cannot seem get rid of tiredness no matter how much I sleep. - pain when urinating deep inside as well as when passing

Mirena pain/discharge
I don't have an endo diagnosis but it is suspected and I have had the coil fitted today to help with the pain. Is it normal to have brown discharge/bleeding almost immediately after insertion (Less than 2 hours later)? Also, the fitting was extremely painful, especially the speculum being inserted/opened

Thought all was ok.
Hi I had surgery two years ago aortic valve replacement etc. Had a set back as my heart rhythm isnt good. Have received letter that im being referred to a specialist for possible ICD implantation... I'm feeling that after I've got over one thing another comes along. I'm back doing my garden business

What type of contraceptive is best with endometriosis?
I'm new here and need some advice. I've been advised by GP that I might have endometriosis after years of painful periods, following an unnecessary operation in October. They've prescribed me on Cerelle since November, and it hasn't done much different. I am on my period for a long period of time, and

Hi ladies I'm after a bit of advice. I have stage 4 endo already had loads of surgeries ; bowel resection, uretic stents, stoma etc. The only further surgery the hospital will do is a total clearance and as I'm only 34 they won't consider that and I understand that the risk of doing so are quite high

Coil Removal due to Mental Health
Hi I’m turning to here because I feel like I have nowhere else to go I’m 20 with a one year old and I had the Mirena coil fitted mid February. Physically everything was fine apart from mild cramping, however it wasn’t the one I wanted!! I asked and thought I had the copper coil fitted until I got home
