5 failed cycles, need some hope
Hi, I’m an avid reader of posts on these forums but never thought I’d be one to post but I’m desperate for some hope. 36, 3years TTC, 4 failed IUI, 2 failed FET and 3 failed fresh IVF cycles. It feels like we’re going backwards with each cycle rather than forwards with fertilisation rates and embryo

Starting to consider hormonal treatment.. advice?
Hi all - I know this will be so unique to the individual and will seek help from my GP when I come to make a decision, but just trying to get a general opinion on experiences with hormonal treatment. I had my Mirena coil taken out two years ago when I was diagnosed as it was not sitting properly due

Back to work after icd fitted
Hi. My husband suffers from AF and 7 years ago, was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. Has an ef of 25%. He is a groundworker/machine driver by trade. His Dr has said he will be unable to return to his work as he would need a fit to work medical, which he would fail. It seems most driving jobs, plant machinery

Scar from Cox-maze procedure
Hi all, I might be having the above procedure and have been reading up on it. One thing I can't find is, what the scar will look like on my chest post-procedure. I already have a scar from my ICD implant and being young (ish) at 44, I'd like to have an idea of what it will look like. Not that it would

Pelvic and Endo update
So, as I mentioned in the past, I have been undergoing multiple scans, different hormonal contraceptives etc to help with my heavy bleeding, pains etc. Before they used to say it might be Pelvic inflammatory dease as to why I was on them, they also keep seeing this cyst on my left side which either grows

Happy New Year.......
.......when it comes. I say that because there's still time to keel over before it comes. 😂. Seriously though, the new year in Scotland used to be a memorable time. You were welcome in anyone's house even if you didn't know them, there was always plenty food to eat, dreadful singing but there was always

Ivf or IUi
Really in need of advice. I have low amh/low ovarian reserve. Previous ivf fails, 1iui fail. Tried different clinics. The clinic I’m with now advised I should just try natural iui asI’m a low responder to IVF. I’m so confused. I don’t feel like I’m getting the best advice from the clinic. What

Hello, my husband had a heart attack 22 years ago he recovered really well and was walking with a friend doing 5 miles or so every week. 3 years ago he had a stroke. Again he recovered well but could not walk more than a couple of miles. His ejection fraction was about 25%. Towards the end of 2022

Finally got some information on the treatment for FND
Here are some steps on finding treatment without the run around. Step one find out what treatment you need done ex. fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Second call your insurance and make sure it's covered. Also look up the medical ICD or CPT codes prior to calling the insurance, because they

*sensitive* BFP on FET and confusing thoughts consuming me and stealing joy
Firstly I hope my post doesn't offend anyone, I know many on this site are just dreaming of a BFP. I completely 3 IUIs, all failed, 1 fresh IVF transfer and a FET transfer. Doing this as a single female aged 35, have been in contact with clinics since 30, some delays in starting treatment due to house

Laproscopy and hysterocopy
Hi all had a diagnostic laproscopy 19th June which removed some endo and a large cyst. Also had a hysteroscopy to remove polyps healing really well. Was told the only way to slow down recurrence of endo was to have coil or get pregnant. I've had so many issues with a variety of contraception and really
