Long lasting migraines
I have been on emgality injections for 4 years. Plus I take imitrex for breakthroughs along with excedrin migraine. I have migraines with aura no head pain but I can feel the pressure. Does anyone else have migraines like this? My migraines turn into cluster headaches lasting up to four to five days.

Post-Ablation Migraines Continued
I previously reported on migraines with aura after my ablation. I'm now 8 days post ablation and have had migraines every day except two. I have at least one and sometimes two or three in one day. Today I had three. As for treatment, I took Imitrex the first few days but am now over the weekly limit

Medications for Migraine
Thanks to all who responded to my question yesterday about post-ablation migraines with aura. I forgot to ask: Did/does anyone take one of the available migraine medications such as Sumatriptan (also known as Imitrex), Rizatriptan (Maxalt), etc. at the onset or during your migraines? I have had a few

My first headache started about 2 yrs ago. It was right sided temple area. There was alsp a vein that popped out on my right side temple area. No otc meds seemed to help. It went away on it's own maybe with in 5 hrs. I went to my Dr. I was given 1 course of prednisone and had a CT scan with and without

Imitrex and anxiety
I’m recently enduring a series of migraines probably due to weather. I am finding that my imitrex worsens my anxiety symptoms especially palpitations. Am I nuts or have any of you experienced this? I was afraid to take it this am so ended up having iv toradol. Only helped a little.

Migraines everyday or non-stop.
I have been struggling with terrible migraines for over ten years now. But for the past three months they have gotten way worse. Sometimes once I get them I will not go away for anything, other times they'll go away but it's right back again the next day. It's very hard for me to function and get any

Headaches vs. migraines?
Hi, While it probably doesn’t matter what you call them, headaches really stink! I seem to go through spells when I’ll have four days in a row and three have migraines. I’ve kept up with a calendar of the headaches, eliminated trigger foods (I don’t do chocolate, caffeine in soft drinks, etc.)

Can't metabolize Coumadin (Warfarin). Anyone else have this same issue?
While on Coumadin at a fairly high INR level I got a huge clot in my abdomen. I was told that I don't metabolize Coumadin (Warfarin). I am now taking an Imitrex injection daily to thin my blood. Problem is my injections were donated to me by the company and I only have about 1 1/2 months left. I

Why do my bruises change color?
I know this might be a silly question but it is bothering me. I don't metabolize coumadin (Warfarin) so I take an Imitrex injection daily. The other morning the bruising on my abdomen were a greenish and yellow color as if they are healing. That night they were all a dark purple color and remain that

100 mg Sumatriptan tablets vs imitrex injections?????
Hi all I'm currently on 100 mg of sumatriptan tablets and have 3 monthly rounds of Botox to ease my chronic migraines. Although the Botox has changed my life dramatically I still have the occasional migraines usually a hormonal one, which I take sumatriptan for, but the tablets are taking such a long

I've had migraines 27 years. When Imitrex was put on the market (the injections) I began using them.
I went from having 2 to 3 migraines/severe nausea, a month to 8 or 9, when I began using Imitrex. My Dr. said it was a coincidence. That went on for 20 years. I was given 6 shots a month so either suffered in bed, or went to the ER. for an additional shot. Then a cardiologist put me on Cardizem
