Ferritin success, anyone wishing to try the same ... especially if vegan
A big thank you, and I hope you know who you are because I can't remember your name. 2) I've started supplementing with a different
iron
, this is called
Iron
Energy+ and is produced by Nutrition Geeks'. It contains Vitamins C, B12 and folic acid as well as
iron
. Best of luck

A Method To Increase Ferritin Level
Supplementing
iron
and eating
iron
rich foods will elevate it a bit more for me but what has worked the best is
iron
as a transdermal patch. These can easily be bought on Amazon.

My
iron
is too low for my liking, I have some new supplements to take for that. I don’t know much about the T3 or T4 levels but this private test says they’re in ‘normal range’

Thyroid, Cortisol And Sodium Question
I supplement with
iron
, B12, D, folate, take my meds the right way and test my bloods the right way - fasted, before 9am, etc. So that's not an issue. I've been feeling dizzy, faint, nauseous and just not right and no wonder - my sodium is so low!

anaemia and ADT
but my worry is that I am becoming anaemic with my results as below - I read somewhere that anaemia can be an ADT/low T problem but it isn’t usually due to low
Iron
- And taking
iron
May not be an appropriate response.

Flare up for weeks
Watching what I eat and drinking lots of water, stopped the
iron
tab 3 days ago to try soothe things down. So far not much if any improvement. Got a doc app next week, but just feel totally fed up and anxiety through the roof.

Are my symptoms due to overdosage?
I do have low ferritin and high
iron
saturation levels also so try to eat liver etc to raise ferritin.

Blood test results
The isolated drop in total
iron
binding capacity is probably not significant as the rest of the
iron
storage results (
Iron
, transferrin saturation and ferritin) are all within range." Which one is it Graves or Hashimoto's?

Iron - wishful thinking
All too often, I think
iron
gets viewed as an issue you get suffer because of something else. Not important enough in its own right to need, to deserve, a separate forum.

Confirming blood tests needed to diagnose hyperthyroid (asking for my sister-in-law)
She's not on any Thyroid meds, but I will advise that she should stop any multi-vitamins a week before and any other vit/supp she might take that include B complex, biotin, or
iron
. Anything you'd change, or anything different if it's hyper we suspect vs hypo? Thanks as always!

bioavailable broad spectrum multi vit?
I got him to ask for an
iron
panel and the results for that look ok. CRP is ok , too. Blood pressure is a bit high but he’s not on meds for it. So - b complex/b12/d / k2 m4/magnesium……will be expensive and he may say no….or is there such thing as a good multivit?

Update for my daughter re loading injections. and the rest.
Honestly the
Iron
Panel Medichecks versus Gp NHS results -saga just rumbles on. The GP said she could see my daughter's ferritin looked low (29 (15-300 NHS test) so suggested
iron
tablets EOD.

I wasn't going to post today but...
Still finding it hard after giving blood a week ago, I just need to give it time for my
iron
levels to recover and take it more slowly. Happy running 🏃♂️ ☺️
