RLS in MS patients
The study suggests it may be caused by low brain
iron
, inflammation or spinal cord scarring. Those on higher efficacy MS drugs (Ocrevus & Fingomolid) seem to have worse RLS than those on the older, less effective MS drugs(Interferons, Aubagio) which is the opposite of what I would expect.

Bit lost …wondering where I’m heading …
Hi forum friends I went to my gp Friday to see what help I might get re my thyroid now and also if I might see a haematologist re high serum
iron
but low ferritin (28 …5-204) thus can’t take three arrows.

Will being on optimal Levo dose for weight make a big difference in mood etc?
I’ve been taking vitamin gummies for months and ensuring I don’t have
iron
, ant D’s close to Levo. Honestly so tired of the merry go around and not being myself :(

iron levels
Hi all Has anyone had a private
iron
transfusion? I have low ferritin and can’t get it to increase, wondering about going privately to have a transfusion. Not sure how I’d go about it and what the criteria needs to be.

Right dose of Besremi
Additionally, I have a question regarding fatigue: When experiencing normal blood counts and
iron
levels, how can I ascertain if my fatigue is due to PV or it is from another cause, such as lack of exercise or something else ?

Pramipexole, Mirtazapine and RLS
Earlier this year after discovering I had ferritin of 18, a short course of
iron
supplements increasing my ferritin to 55 resolved all RLS symptoms.

iron deficiency
Can anyone help me with my results? I have no gauge whether this is seriously low, or slightly low etc! This is in relation to a fibroid condition not thyroid potentially! Yes I’m super lucky right now!

Gabapentine or Pregabalin?
My
iron
panel results are consistently good. I do take an
iron
supplement. I also take losartan and co-amilazide to regulate my blood pressure.

How to persuade TSH-obsessed Endo I'm not over-replaced (on T3-only)?
I supplement with
iron
, B12 , vitamin D and selenium. My BP is low, my resting heart rate is low 60 bpm. I did struggle with a 19kg weight gain because of insulin resistance, but ditching the gluten and refined carbs solved that and I'm now a healthy weight.

Ferritin and folate levels
I had some blood tests run via the gp to check on my
iron
levels. They areFerritin 113 (30 -400) Folate >20 (3.8-26.8) which seem ok. I don't have a TSH and my T4 is minute caused by a non functioning pituitary. I want to increase my T3 but the Endos are horrified.

Floradix and Hemoglobin
My husband's
iron
levels have always run on the low side and now with the CLL pushing down on his hemoglobin and platelets combined with a reduction of heme-
iron
in our Macrobiotic diet, I see the need to supplement.

Off B12 a week before B12 blood test or not?
Hello, my mum is due a repeat B12 blood test (and hoping for a full
iron
panel too which I have just requested) - does she need to stop the B12 supplements a week before the blood test? Or is stopping B vitamins only necessary before the thyroid blood tests? Many thanks.

Getting Desperate!
When I mentioned my
iron
levels to my NP she states they are normal, however my ferritin level is 20 and my saturation is 18%. I have no idea what to do. This is interefering with my sleep, my job, my marriage etc. Any suggestions?
