Positive experiences of the coil?
Hello- hope you have a pain free day today. I'm looking for some positive experiences about adeno and the coil? What symptoms did it help with? Fed up with pain, pressure and bloating. Really affecting my mood. Thanks in advance ladies Gill x

Another hurdle over
It's 15 weeks since my ruptured aneurysm and 3 hr operation to coil it. Today I travelled 1 and 1/2 hrs for my first appointment with the neurosurgeon. Last night a new feeling manifested itself. Hormonal coil
Hi, I had this fitted 4 weeks ago but I am still bleeding! I had a full period when I was due and then I slightly stopped bleeding but then I had light sex and it made me bleed again! Is this still settling as I read it can take up to 2 months 😬

Options other than transplant?
Hi, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anybody has chosen not to go for stem cell transplant after getting good bone marrow results after the consolidation phase of chemo? Bleed with Mirena coil after 3 years
Hi everyone, it’s been a while! I was put on the coil after my second surgery (lucky me I was asleep!) and had my third surgery a year after. Since then I’ve been pretty much pain and bleed free! ... til now. I’m almost at my 3 year mark with the coil (March) and did some research on forums and it seems

Bleeding with copper IUD
I got the copper IUD inserted a year ago today. For the entire year I've had really long periods (about 2-2.5 weeks long!) So for the past 12 months I've basically spent more time bleeding than not bleeding. Is this normal? I know longer/heavier periods are a common side affect, but I don't want to spend

IUI first timer - Gonal f injections
Hi everyone, i'm new to this site and have just started my first round of IUI after 2 years of trying naturally. I started using Gonal-f injections on Wednesday and have noticed that i'm extremely teary and subject to more mood swings than normal. I'm not sure whether this is a side effect to the drug

Has anyone been able to opt for surgery/hysterectomy without going down the mirena / hormone route first under 40??
Hi everyone, adenomyosis was seen on my recent MRI and i have a history of endo. I previously tried mini pill and implant. My gyn wants me to try mirena but i dont really like the idea, i had a copper coil previously and had constant problems with yeast and urinary infections. Im 35 so they are dismissive

Adenomyosis found on MRI, mirena recommended? surgery?
Anyone with endo also been diagnosed with adenomyosis? I went for my MRI results today and found out, there was also a 4cm mass seen which they said was likely a luteal cyst..I'm having a follow up scan next month to check it. The consultant now wants me to try the mirena coil. Has anyone tried the coil

Why is my copper coil still causing pain?
Hi all, I had my copper coil inserted just over 6 months ago. I have still been having some really painful cramps, just before my period, during it, and just after it. I have no risk of pregnancy and tend to get about 2-3 days of spotting before the heavy period starts. I can't think of any more symptoms

Build up of pain and then a “bloody” explosion!
Like many of you I’ve got constant pain, always right sided from flank to inside thigh, appendix area and lower back. In the last two months the pain has sometimes got that bad that I feel like my insides are about to explode - I thought I was about to lose everything in the M&S food hall queue last

Just thought I’d give people a bit of Hope really, I first started getting pain back in June after coming off the progesterone only pill and starting the copper coil, I thought the pain was from the coil so went to the clinic to have it checked & they removed it, the pain didn’t stop

Feeling in the dark as I start Clomid with a history of endo and cysts. Advice very welcome!
Hi, A little about me to start... I’m 3-4 years in of TCC (age 33) and have been on a very slow fertility journey through the NHS. Last year I found out I wasn’t ovulating, had a cyst that needed to be surgically removed, probably had endometriosis and possibly needed my Fallopian tubes removed.
