Hi, I had this fitted 4 weeks ago but I am still bleeding! I had a full period when I was due and then I slightly stopped bleeding but then I had light sex and it made me bleed again! Is this still settling as I read it can take up to 2 months 😬

You can have unscheduled bleeding for months after insertion - some women will continue to have menses. As with any vaginal/post coital bleeding, have you had a new sexual contact and if so , chlamydia screening.

Thank you that’s what I thought! No new sexual contact plus I had chlamydia test before the coil as part of the procedure
