Gas issues
hey I am Micheal and 23 years old. I was diagnosed with ibs like 2 years ago. I don’t experience diahheroa but I have persistent bloating and gas. Even if I eat like a salad I get bloated like pregnant. I have tried yoga but no so effective. What will help?

Advice please
Hi there, my mum was diagnosed with HGSOC stage 4 in October 21. She had debulking surgery followed by 6 rounds of carbo/taxol. She recovered well and continued with Avastin infusions every 3 weeks until May this year when her CA125 started to gradually rise. Her CT scan at this time showed NED and they

Hemorrhoids
I have had hemorrhoid problems for years. Was started on Metamucil, maybe 30 years ago. Stop after awhile couldn’t stand it. Saw a GI doc, recently, who started me on an increased amount a few months ago. No one seems to understand the pain I am in from the hemorrhoids. I will start off the day with

Update 7.7.5 = Benign
Thanks to all who responded to my last post. The news on the growth removed from my face was good news. It was benign, a Seborrheic Keratosis that suddenly had become inflamed. Due to the coloration, it looked a possible malignant growth, which is why I had it checked out. I would encourage everyone

Exhausted by trying to find a solution
To anyone out there who is struggling with chronic constipation do you take PPI’s and if so do they affect your bowel. I am really struggling as I have had this problem since I was a teenager but it has got much worse since I started medication. I take Statins, PPI’s for a Hiatus Hernia, and Anlodipine

Mebeverine
Hi all, just wondering about Mebeverine as my GP has prescribed this in the past, and I have it on repeat prescription. I do not take this regularly, as I seem to find that I can't take it before my evening meal as I have to take other meds then.Just wondering if anyone has taken the 2x a day slow release

Has anyone ever been abroad before and came back with diarrhea? I actually managed to get through 12 hour flights and 3 weeks in Brazil with only a couple of bad episodes .. thanks to Imodium helping me through. The day we were due to fly my stomach was so bad which was not unusual for me with anxiety

Colonoscopy prep - tips!
Hi all, I am due to start the Moviprep this evening, before my colonoscopy in the morning. As it stands none of my worry is for the actual procedure, it’s just for the prep! I’ve heard horror stories about it… and after being super poorly about 3 weeks ago in hospital with sepsis (due to a bowel infection

UK - Liver Resection
I'm having my liver resection on Friday 18th August to remove HCC and I'm just falling apart. I'm so scared and nervous. I feel sick, I'm bloated (from stress), I feel I have no desire to eat properly so I'm eating the wrong foods. I'm getting heart burn too. I'm convinced it's all anxiety related to

constipation with PD
Recently, a member asked for help with constipation. My partner Bill has PD and suffered with bouts of rather scary constipation for a long time. We tried many things and finally found a couple of remedies that really work: 1. Sublingual, high dose thiamine (Source Naturals, 100 mg; about $7 at Amazon

Severe Abdominal pain.
I'm 21 and have IVC artesia, now I always get abdominal pain. It's a normal thing for me. But for the past week or so, I've been getting pain non stop to the point where I'm crawling.I visited A&E the other day and they cancelled out appendicitis as I have pain in my lower right side of my abdomen.
