You are what you breath - but what you breath varies...
And so I now have a cocktail of ailments and absorb an unwarranted numbers of pills and
inhalers
and ambulatory oxygen every day. I started out with childhood asthma but that cleared to leave me a fairly healthy adulthood.

Constrictive Bronchiolitis - Please Help Me
Hello, I am new here and I believe I have constrictive bronchiolitis. Here is my story: I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 2017 via VATS surgery. I never really understood how I got it. I originally went in to my doctor because I had bouts of GERD that woke me up at night with severe coughing

Clenil quantities
Hi, I've had asthma for a little under 40 years. In the last year or so I've noticed that my Clenil inhaler (the brown one) last only 2-3 months whereas previously it lasted around 6 months. Does anyone know why this may be? My dosage and technique haven't changed.

Running in Portugal
Blue sky, sunshine, a gentle cooling breeze and a campsite across the road from the sea. That, coupled with a nice flat, traffic-free promenade that stretches for miles meant it was perfect for a run, to the background of the incoming tide crashing on the rocks. After nearly 20000 steps yesterday walking

Aching legs
I have mild COPD but have started to have aching legs, more so in the evenings and in bed. Mostly both my thigh areas and sometimes lower legs. I have no swelling or bad pain or redness etc. Does anyone else suffer from this as I cant decide if its linked to my condition or not. I feel it is but could

How To Tell If Ventolin Inhaler Is Running Out?
I also know GPs can get a bit funny with how many
inhalers
are ordered! The Fostair is very handy as it has the counter on it, and it always makes me think Ventolin/Salbutamol should too as that would be far more useful! Thanks!

Dr appt updates
Saw my pulmonologist on Tues. “Why haven’t you been using your Cpap?” Me: “Sometimes I feel claustrophobic and it’s hard to breathe. I also have had shortness of breath since I had Covid last June after coming home from our trip.” This led her to have me do a 6 minute walking test - my oxygen didn’t

Full removal of thyroid and parathyroid anxiety levels very high
in August 2022, I had my total thyroid and total parathyroid removed, they were both so enlarged that they were suffocating me, this was only discovered when the operation was performed, though I had been suffering serious breathing problems for the preceding year and had been prescribed various

Advice please, headaches with Duoresp Spiromax but otherwise working well???
Been on Duoresp Spiromax for couple of weeks. Seems to be working well for breathlessness but I get headaches with it. Has anyone had this and - if so - how long did the headaches last for. I am loathe to try yet another inhaler. Thank you for any replies.

Singulair - Flu Like Symptoms Side Effect
Hey All! A little bit of background on me. Early October I was infected with COVID-19, I’m 4 times vaxxed, and while it was only two days of symptoms, I ended up with SOB on day 3 which later turned into Long COVID. I was prescribed Flovent and Salbutamol by the ER Doctor, my NP then prescribed me Symbicort

Thanks to you all
Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who replied to my previous post about my partner being diagnosed with emphysema. I spoke to a wonderful specialist nurse called Liz over the phone yesterday who reaffirmed a lot of what had been said. We spoke to his GP over the phone this morning and

Horrible taste in my mouth! 🤢
I have recently been ticked off by my asthma nurse as I wasn't using my brown inhaler and relying on using my blue reliver one. I'm now using my brown one correctly twice a day, and funnily enough have not had to use my blue one at all! The down side is I now have a horrible taste in my mouth. Has anyone

Morning folks, hope you are all doing ok and looking forward to some warmer weather, I have posted about my cough before but at the moment I am feeling really down and unsure what to do. I sleep well all night but every morning I spend an hour coughing up sputum before my lungs feel clearer and not

Weaning off Sirdupla 250?
Bearing in mind that it took two years to find a combination
inhalers
which would get it properly under control in the first place and when things go pearshaped it happens pretty quickly with me.
