Clenil quantities

Hi, I've had asthma for a little under 40 years. In the last year or so I've noticed that my Clenil inhaler (the brown one) last only 2-3 months whereas previously it lasted around 6 months. Does anyone know why this may be? My dosage and technique haven't changed.

When I had Clenil it had a counter at the back -120 doses and it turned automatically on each measured dose. I was on 2 puffs 2 x day, so lasted 30 days. If that helps? Changed to Flexitide re allergy, doses not clocked, but last about a month with same dosage used.

Thanks fraid, that does help. The counter doesn't seem accurate, plus I'm on 1 puff 1 x day and it only lasts two months (half what I'd expect). Next time I see the nurse I'll check my technique is still good and ask about Flexitide
