How to correctly monitor/retest b12 with injection treatment?
So after about 2 months of weekly IM b12 injections (that started with a one week loading dose time frame), I saw my dr to ask to test folate, b2, magnesium, and potassium. Just to make sure the dominos weren't falling on each other in terms of the vitamin dance that goes on with b12 treatment. Unbeknownst

High B12 intake causing my symptoms of hyperthyroidism? Update: B12 not the cause of my symptoms.
Could high oral B12 intake (1000-2000mcg/day) cause hyperthyroidism? I noticed from recent blood work that my serum B12 was lower than it used to be: currently at 344 pmol/L for a range between 150 to 600 pmol/L. It used to be 732 pmol/L in 2018. I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome last March

B12 deficiency and normal EMG/nerve study
Can you have a normal EMG/nerve conduction study but still be experiencing numbness and tingling from B12 deficiency? My B12 level was 274 in the end of August and I’ve had weekly or near weekly injections since August 26th. So many of my symptoms have improved since starting injections, but the numbness

Iron drop after b12 injection?
My Iron test result after the first b12 injection dropped to 49.1 ug/dL (was 82.9 months ago). Does it caused by the b12 injection? would it be more serious along the therapy and is it kind of a sign that I do suffer from B12 deficiency? (my b12 serum level was 190 pmol/L before so My Doc. is not totally

Copper deficiency and b12
Has anyone been tested for copper deficiency? I've just read about how copper deficiency can cause symptoms similar to b12 deficiency. I suppose it's rarely checked and hence often missed.

Are worsening symptoms after injection could be sign of severe b12 deficiency?
Hi all, before the question itself I would introduce my case as I'm new here. I suffer from severe tiredness, muscle/joint pain and muscle weakness as well as many other neurological symptoms. It all started one and a half years ago after blood donation. I had severe tiredness for almost a year and then

Vitamin D and B12, need to know dose please.
Hi community Could someone help me with these results please? They seem to be within the ranges but I have been told that they are low. If so, I would like to know how much I should take of each vitamin, for how long and how many hours of separation after levo and T3. Vitamin D 25 (hydroxy) D3 / D3 (

Do you think I may need more b12 as well as iron plse? Have low ferritin 28, but MCH overange again?
Hi I wonder if anyone can offer advice please? I need to supplement iron (ferritin 28-had changed from fumerate to bisglycinate, had to stop taking for couple months due to infections?) and iron stores low again. I would presume the MCH (32.5-range is 27-32)would be lower with low iron? I have monthly

Hi, I've been feeling very unwell recently with bad fatigue, headaches, swollen and sore feet. I've had thrush 3 times in the last month too. I've been on NDT (Erfa) for 8 weeks now (starting on 30mg and increased recently to 45mg) along with 25mg Levothyroxine. Before this, I was on 50mg Levothyroxine
