Eligard and loss of taste
I have been on Eligard since the end of December 2023 and finished 28
IMRT
sessions for my Gleason 9 non-metastatic PC Besides the usual loss of libido, fatigue and hot flushes, I have also experienced a diminished ability to taste.

Erectile dysfunction meds and side effects
My husband is getting brachytherapy in September and then IG
IMRT
in October. He is currently on Orgovyx for month two and will be adding zytega next month. Good news is that his PSA has gone to 2 and Testosterone to 9 after a month on Firmagon so meds seem to be doing what are supposed to.

Pelvic floor exercise video removed.
I had a RP 5 years ago with recurrence - then had 72Gy of
IMRT
. After the RP with pelvic floor exercises, I had incontinence under control - just wearing 1 shield per day. But then after radiation I completely lost control. I go thru periods of intensely training and I still have hope.

Barrigel is now preferred over "SpaceOAR" gel?
IMRT
is scheduled for May. The doctor explained the procedure needs no prep (maybe an enema of the lower bowel) and he anesthetizes the insertion region while administering laughing gas. Takes about 30 minutes and I can drive myself home.

Platelets Dropping
IMRT
targets Gleason 9 in prostate and possible seminal invasion and then sort of the whole pelvis in case there are micro metastatises that did not show up on PSMA Petscan (negative for spread).

Question for Oncologist
He just completed
IMRT
and was undetectable two weeks ago. Have you ever heard that the progression of soft tissue mets like my husband’s is more lethal after eventual castrate resistance from Zytiga when the original tumor had perineural invasion?

If PSA is Suppressed by Doublet ADT, Will Salvage IMRT Cause a PSA Rise?
Hello everyone, My husband is nearing completion of his extended pelvic salvage
IMRT
with boost to retrocaval lymph nodes. His radiation oncologist said it may take several months before the psa calms down, so he would like to see him in July.

Which Treatment for These Biopsy Results?
VMAT
IMRT
+ HT, VMAT
IMRT
without HT, possibly LDR Brachytherapy, Active Surveillance are the only treatments available to me in my neck of the woods. Which would you recommend given my stats. Was there anything I missed out or should clarify in the biopsy stats?

Cystoscopy post salvage radiation
It's been 2 years since I completed salvage
IMRT
to surgical bed and pelvic lymph nodes. My MO recommended I have cystoscopy after reporting 3 very small clots during 1 week in urine (about size of crumbled picecs of corn flake).
