Colistimethate sodium powder for use in a nebuliser mixed with Salbutamol instead of Saline.
Good afternoon all, on a daily basis I take the above powdered inhaled antibiotic (Promixin) through my nebuliser with a saline solution to help with my pseudomonas bugs. The other day I noticed I had ran out of saline so I had to used one of my salbutamol solutions to mix it. Will this have been ok

I am new here - question
I have suffered from IBS-D for many years. I find when I take Imodium I am good for a few days after. I am considering taking it every second or third day on a regular basis. Has anyone else had success with this method?

Dear friends, I have a ‘what would you do’ scenario that I’d really love your help with, please.
A short update for those following - When I saw my haematologist last week it was quite unpleasant, I think her impatience was due to her ridiculous workload or her frustration that she can’t really guide me. I dared not question her words or ask too many Q’s, I left it at a couple, one of them was re

Salt, hypothyroidism, high BP and fluid retention
I have been on blood pressure medication for a few years and although it has lowered my BP (initally 180/105), it´s still borderline high according to GP (never < 130/90 in doctor´s office). I also tend to retain fluid and look puffy. My GP says that is what you´d expect in someone who eats too much

I’m really struggling to find a happy medium for a maintenance dose for my son. We are constantly having to disimpact because he get blocked up whenever I reduce the laxatives

I was just recently diagnosed, well not even that, I was told my numbers were off and my sodium is low, I've been a type 1 diabetic for over 50 years, I'm just reading on the internet and being frightened and depressed. I've given up dairy and colas and coffee, no small sacrifices! I haven't seen

What aspects of CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel) in my blood should I be most concerned ?
Hello fellow warriors! I had a blood draw today and have some comments and questions. Comment - I am the one to suggest every blood draw to monitor PSA, Testosterone , and other “numbers” that are reported from CMP results. I believe if I did not do this , I would never be asked about this . Is this

Lactulose... Ugh! Please help
So I started taking Lactulose yesterday again. Took it a long time ago with no problems I can remember. 1Tbs 2x a day. Now... 2Tbs 3x a day. I took the first 2Tbs and thought I would die from cramps and gas and then the runs. Drank water like a fish and still awoke dehydrated. Today I am doing 1Tbs 3x

Good afternoon I wondered if someone could help me interpret my blood results. On 25th March I was tested looking for arthritis but they did a thyroid test and it came back abnormal so a week later I tested again, still abnormal but this time T3 was in range. I was referred to Endo who prescribed

Botox success for dystonia; how long did it last ?… and other ?’s
It’s been a long time since I approached this site. I just got overwhelmed with the summation of the pandemic, the environment, the degradation of our political leadership and my own 20+ years of declining success with living the life of PIGD pd. However I’m faced with an acceleration of the decline

Hi, first time posting here but desperately need some advice. I’ve suffered from IBS for over 20yrs. I’ve had loads of blood tests, scopes, (last colonoscopy 19 months ago), loads of biopsies and everything is clear.
