ThIrd infusion of JANX007
Hello all, I had my 3rd infusion today of the new
immunotherapy
drug called JANX007. They had been giving me IV steriods and benadryl. My MO came in today and said we are going to change things up, NO STERIODS. He said the odds of having a reaction to the cancer drug was less than 10%.

the man ( woman) with a treatment plan says :
Combined chemo ( carboplatin and paclitaxel )once a week / radio every day mon to fri for 6 weeks followed , if I’ve got the appropriate markers with
immunotherapy
as follow on … they said it was a brutal regime but they are aiming for a curative outcome ( this was tempered with the high % of recurrences

Why arent Stage 4 lung cancer patients offered surgery?
Chemotherapy and
Immunotherapy
only. But I'm begining to wonder- are we too accepting of our lot? Can someone explain the reasoning behind it all? Is it a cost thing? Are we stage 4s not seen as cost effective? They don't want to waste money on lung cancer patients.

make the most of life
He was diagnosed in June 21, and was doing amazingly well, had chemo and
immunotherapy
for the first 7 months, then it all stopped working, and the cancer overtook his brain.

Immunotherapy, early research for Jak2
We've discussed
immunotherapy
promise for CALR. CALR is the 1st candidate because it has external features that help identify it for targeting.

review update- scores on the doors
Sadly , I just missed out on it being operable though because of those blumming lymph’s …. so it looks like Chemo and radiotherapy combined or sequential … still awaiting markers for suitability to
immunotherapy
or targeted therapies but should know that soon …..

immunotherapy side effects
Hi, I went for my fifth treatment the other day. They ended up having to hold off on it because I have developed a very bad hacking cough. Dr sent me for CT-scan to look for any inflammation in my lungs. Plus I am still having high blood pressure and have been put on meds for that. Can anyone share

My dad 65 has stage 4 prostate cancer (HELP)
There are targeted therapies, such as
immunotherapy
in PARP inhibitors, that have proven to be helpful in treating metastatic prostate cancers in people with mutations in certain genes. 4) Triplet therapy with the oral androgen receptor inhibitor darolutamide plus docetaxel plus androgen-deprivation

Good news among the bad Over 6 months . Stage ONE TRIAL WORKING, .😊 NO CANCER PROGRESSION HUMC NEW JERSEY
stage 4 filled with Mets in every bone and one in lung, his cancer never shrunk but stayed the same with only very slight growth in some Mets and his PSA never went to 0 like others have but treatment did lower it and I'm not sure how much of an indicator the PSA rise actually is once you have done

Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
That worked for five years until his PSA started increasing again and he was able to receive a two of three rounds of Provenge
immunotherapy
(the last round was cancelled due to Covid just starting in March 2020). He started Xtandi shortly after.
