Acupunture and cycles

Hey ladies,

I start acupunture this month, last Wednesday cycle day 21 and had a second session today cycle day 30. I periods are usually regular, cycle day 29.

Whilst i get it's only a day I'm not having any usual cramping symptoms, I've been a bit aggy but thought well I'm due on so normal.

Has anyone else had acupunture change their cycle? I know it is meant to regulated your cycle but mine was very regular so not sure what is happening??

I am waiting for AF so we can have a start day for injections for icsi (Well of course unless this isn't acupunture and in fact a miracle has happened but I doubt it)

Hi Oharal. Well, what do I say?? Acupuncture is well known to regulate menstrual cycles and encourage good blood flow to the womb and its lining. Just going to have to wait and see if your period does start or it's possibly your little miracle?? Fingers crossed for you. Diane

My daughter had been having acupuncture for the last 2 months because on her last attempt at icsi her baseline scan showed no follicles and even after stims she only had 2. With acupuncture her baseline scan showed 6 follicles, one disappeared and yesterday showed she had 5 really good sized follicles. Retrievel is tomorrow at 10 so keeping her fingers crossed . Having acupuncture tonight again and then in day of transfer. We really believe it has helped xx
