Period after coil removal
Hi I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and I’ve just had my coil removed to try for a baby. I got my coil out about a month ago and I was due my period 2 weeks ago and it’s still not come. I did a pregnancy test last week and then again today after a week. Both were negative. Has anyone else experienced

Walking Munro's with an ICD
Hi, Last year I was given an
ICD
implant and wondering how far I can go with exercise. I have tried to get back running, but struggling a bit. My daughter and I used to walk the Munro's in Scotland, but not sure if the distance or altitude is something a bit too much of a challenge.

Mirena coil and double desogestrel. Is it too much?
hi, first time posting. Short version - I currently have the coil in and my dr has just told me to double my desogestrel. Firstly, I’m worried about the safety of this? Secondly I really don’t feel I’m coping with the hormone overload. Has anybody else had this treatment before? Is it sustainable? Will

Potential ICD
The letter has stated that he's being considered for an
ICD
and he's very stressed about this. Firstly, is there anything he could be doing to improve his ejection fraction or is this something that just reduces in time?

Copper IUD and Endometriosis link
Hi, I’m curious to find out if having the copper coil (non hormonal one - not Mirena) may have triggered my endometriosis. Especially where mine was (uteral ligaments - behind the womb). Just wondered if anyone else has had a Copper coil and since suffered with Endo?

Fibrotic Endometriosis
I have had an absolute joke of an endo journey. To cut a long story short - after years of scans, a coil for 'treatment', pain etc... I finally had a lap 1.5 yrs ago and was told i didn't have it - I had an mri a few months after the lap. The consultant wouldn't show me the report, even though I asked

9 weeks post op, still pain on one side, dark shade around kidney? Also new endometrioma found 😔
So at 6 weeks I posted about pain to one side, I was finally send to SAU yesterday for bloods and an ultrasound, my back is so tender to touch and they have found a dark spot in my kidney area? They don't know what it is but sent me home with a lot of pain killers and the promise of a CT scan to take

MRI result: no appointment set to discuss my results over two months later. Looking for private consultant recommendations in Surrey area
Hi everyone, It has been two months since I was emailed a very brief description of my MRI results. I have yet to be given an appointment to discuss them. Everytime I ring the gynecologist I am told an appointment has been "requested", which is what I was also told two months ago. The MRI has shown that

Zoladex wearing off??
Hi all, I've been on Zoladex since march last year , last week I had my 16th and final jab. Since January I've been getting alot of the Endo flare ups but they haven't been as intense as previous. So whilst painful I could still function to some degree. Last night however I had some spotting and pain

returning to exercise after recent ICD placement
Good morning Following a VF arrest about 4 weeks ago I’ve now got an
ICD
fitted. Before the arrest I was running 10km every day and going to various exercise classes at our local Sports Centre Being active was sort of my thing.

DOES MEDICARE COVER DEXA SCANS FOR MEN WITH PROSTATE CANCER
I have been searching the internet for the proper
ICD
codes to use for a DEXA scan for males with prostate cancer but can't find any. Has anybody else had a DEXA scan that was paid for by Medicare?

What would you do?
Hi everyone I'm just hoping for some advice. I have a lap booked in June with a general gynaecologist. It is purely diagnostic and won't be doing any excision so I would need another OP down the line. I've just had a long conversation with my GP who has endo herself. She is very firm on me getting the

Light-Headed
I had a triple heart bypass after the first in 2012 and an
ICD
fitted in 2019 after the second. 10 days ago, I started feeling very light-headed. I have had no change of meds (either dosage or type) . I take Ramipril, Amiodarone, Asprin, Bisoprolol, Ezetimibe daily.

Hi I'm new and looking for some insight away from the walls of medics. My story starts 3 years ago, I was bleeding more than I wasn't. I had always had heavy periods since they started and a lot of pain and anaemia more often than not, but thought it was normal (I'm 46 now). After having 2 children I

Hi, my wife has recently had pacemaker/
