Just looking for advice really, I was on the depo injection after having my baby but it sent me crazy and major hormone overload so i came off of it. I had a copper coil inserted between of march so 8 weeks ago and I haven't stopped bleeding since, not one day. Is this normal and will it settle? I'm already thinking of having it removed because it just brings me down having to deal with it daily.

Yes definitely copper coil.
Hmm well if you are having unscheduled bleeding then I would go back to the coil inserter for a check . Menses can be heavier and more prolonger with the copper coil, but if you are aving more bleeding than that, needs to be checked.
Hi I had the copper coil fitted a while ago. It does take afew months to settle. For me it was around 3 months when the bleeding/spotting stopped completely but every woman is different. But you do experience a longer period cycle by a day or two. Alongside the cramps before and after your period as I didn't have stomach cramps when it's the time of the month. The coil will settle in eventually so just give it time.
