Doc said time to start Ibrutinib
On my way back from Mayo visit hemoglobin dropped to 10 and platelets dropped to 116. Doc said time to start, I'm sick of the fight! I've spent over $20,000 on natural docs and supplements and sick of all the diets they've put me on. Nothing has worked for me. I want a normal life again with some

Infection, hospitalisation and future treatment with Ibrutinib or trial drug.
Im making an appointment for clinic to discus treatment for CLL and the consultant stated i am now eligble for
Ibrutinib
. I am also considering the trial of
Ibrutinib
and venetoclax. However, i need to fully recover. But things are looking good after a very rough ride.

Treatment....or not ???
My question is : Is it worth stating treatment ( her doctor wants to start her on
ibrutinib
) and risk side effects that will disturb her way of life more than the esthetic side ?

Ibrutinib - Side effects
I've now had the results of the echo scan and heart monitor and it appears I have an extra heart beat, which is very common apparently so the flutter is exacerbated by the

Feeling really lost and scared.
He had 6 cycles of BR and then
Ibrutinib
before the transformation and has had 6 of R-mini chop during which his disease progressed and finally the Rituximab plus gemcitabine and Oxaliplatin since the biopsy confirming a CD30 transformation.

Does Ibrutinib cause issues with type two diabetes
As the title depicts,I just started
Ibrutinib
on Thursday and being a type two diabetic I'm always checking my bloods to keep them around the 7 mark, however since Thursday they have fluctuated between 12 and 18ish which is high for me,I plan on contacting my support nurse tomorrow but would be grateful

How to manage the copays for Ibrutinib with medicare.
The treatment that is recommended is imbuvica or
Ibrutinib
but after medicare coverage we would need to pay $2900 for the first cycle each year and then $609 a month in copays. How have other people managed this expense? Thanks so much for any ideas.

To all of you who supported my petition to get life saving cancer drug called
Ibrutinib
available to people in my situation, I have been informed by Sean O'Niel of the Times that NHS England have reversed their previous ruling and within a week I should be eligible for treatment.

Response and Survival Rates for FCR and Ibrutinib
The conclusion was that
Ibrutinib
is probably the best first line drug in terms of response and survival measures.

Ibrutinib - 4 months in (FLAIR)
Neutropils now at 1.5 (I though they would only go up to 1.2 because of the
Ibrutinib
), everything else on the up as well. What a wonderful drug.

Info needed
I know when you have fcr your immune system is destroyed and infections are a great concern, but if you don’t have fcr and go onto the
ibrutinib
trials is your immune system affected in same way and if so is it affected for all the time your taking the tablets?

Update but still not ibrutinib
NHS England are due to publish the results of thier review on
Ibrutinib
, but that's still not happened. The trial drug also is still not available. In the meantime I was due in clinic today. However since Friday I have been running a temperature, unable to stay awake, sweats and headaches.

CAR T-Cell Developments in Lymphoma Dr. Ian Flinn Highlights
. - One last publication to think about is the data we've seen involving Waldenström macroglobulinemia where rituximab was compared with the combination of
ibrutinib
(Imbruvica) and rituximab.
