I may have to have one and was just wondering if you had to stop noacs for this. I guess it may depend on what they do as some of the precedures could cause bleeeding. Hope to hear from someone. Cassie

Laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and numerous tests later found that my uterus is atrophic (not much blood supply) probably from scarring from the ERPC and my amh is low at 3.4. This was a shock as we conceived so easily first time round.

God bless the NHS, they have got me in within 4 weeks of seeing the consultant after failed hysteroscopy. Got my Pre-Op next week, been told I will go into a surgical menopause immediately.

It had been working, I think, and though an ultrasound scan in February showed that the cyst was still there, and had grown a little, the diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy from a general gynecologist I had at the end of February 2017 picked up NOTHING! Needless to say, I was devastated.

Finally had a hysteroscopy done a while ago for an endometrial polyp. It took sooo long for the appointment to come through that the polyp seemed to have shed by itself and there was nothing to remove after all. All that pain for nothing! Argh!

I'm booked in on Tuesday morning for a laparoscopy, with ablation of any endo they find, followed by a hysteroscopy with a dye test through my tubes and a scrape.

underwent a hysteroscopy and a laparoscopy. The hysteroscopy showed multiple polyps and irregular endometrial cavity with adhesions. The polyps were curetted and sent to histology. To prevent future adhesions, I left a mirena coil insitu. This will be removed in the future.

I was obviously bleeding after the hysteroscopy but I didn't ask how long I would bleed for. I thought it had stopped yesterday but has started again today and now I don't know whether I should be calling him again or if the bleed is related to the hysteroscopy.

Hello, I have finally had endometritis confirmed after surgery on Wed (Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy to remove cysts and polyps), so I am new to the group.

, plus many other tests and have recently undergone surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) to find out what's been stopping me from conceiving. About 7 or 8 years ago I had to have some abnormal cells removed via a cone biopsy, 2 weeks after this I had an infection and a massive haemorrhage.

The procedure was 5hrs long and involved Pararectal space dissection, ureterolysis, ovarian cystectomy and excision of RV nodules and Hysteroscopy.

It was so sudden that when I was agreeing I was in such shock (and pain) that I said yes to every procedure my OBGYN said it should be done.So overall they are going to do Hysteroscopy+Mirena+Laparoscopy+Treatment to Endometriosis all in one.I see most of the people here have only Laparoscopy.

I have eventually got my appointment for my hysteroscopy and biospy. I have never had a GA and I am more worried about waking up during the procedure than not waking up afterwards. I feel stupid asking this but will my bits be exposed before I am knocked out?
