Can Endo return whilst being on the Prostap injection??
I did have an
hysteroscopy
a couple of years ago and my consultant said that most of th endo was dead from me starting on the prostap and there was just a little bit of fresh endo which she burnt away and drained my cyst on my left ovary and told me that I would probably be on the prostap long term

Update on my ongoing saga.. first think endometria.. 2 months later now maybe a Dermoid!! - but not linked to intermenstrual bleeding??
The long and short of it is I was basically made to make decisions of what happens next and beause of the bleeding and because of the lack of explanation and the fact ca125 still double ( but yes fallen since 1st test) I have asked to have cyst removed and he will do a
hysteroscopy

Not sure what is wrong with me, any advice would be welcome x
I am currently awaiting results from a
hysteroscopy
where samples from the lining of my womb were taken and the neck of my cervix was cauterised as there was slight erosion.

Am I worrying too much re intermenstrual bleeding for two years and now they have found a complex cyst on right ovary.
The gyny Consultant has arranged for me to have a
hysteroscopy
and thinks I should have my iud changed to a mirena to hopefully stop this bleeding. My periods have always been very regular and aren't particularly troublesome and only last 4-5 days.

I feel like i'm being fobbed off......
i have had a ultrasound, they just said some fibroids and cysts, thickened endometrium so was sent for a
hysteroscopy
and biopsy, all came back clear but they fitted a mirena at the same time too - i asked at both appointments about my left side of my pelvis, that it constantly feels like its tugging

Be strong and hopeful, it may not be all bad.
I am to have a
hysteroscopy
to investigate further the cysts. The consultant is considering if a laparoscopy may be warranted. Past investigations due to infertility, never informed me of endometriosis but a radiologist during a previous u/s, once said straight away, did I suffer this.

Getting ill before surgery?
The only reason I worry is because I'm having a
hysteroscopy
next Tuesday and was wondering whether I should get checked out at the nurse drop in clinic this week....I don't want to bother the nurse unnecessarily :/

Just diagnosed
& a
hysteroscopy
. It's a lot to take in at the moment & I got very emotional when I left the hospital, just thankfull really that I wasn't just imagining all this pain & that something is going to be done about it.

Would my hysteroscopy detect ovarian cancer?
I have my
hysteroscopy
in 2 weeks time - am 55 not yet had the menopause and have a fibroid but they want to investigate further. Some of the symptoms I have could point to ovarian cancer and I'm wondering if they would be able to detect that when they carry out the
hysteroscopy
?

Is it worth me applying for ESA?
I went to my GP just over a year ago and presented my symptoms, she referred me for a scan, this showed thickened lining of womb, fibroids and cysts, nothing to worry about but they reffered me for a
hysteroscopy
so they could take a biopsy of the lining.

Nerve damage to thigh following laparoscopy
I had a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
6 days ago. They found some endo, scarring and a prolapsed uterus (oh joy!). When I was getting dressed to go home, I realised that the front and sides of my right thigh was numb but at the same time very sensitive to touch - this still persists.
