post hysterectomy and bowel resection
Had total
hysterectomy
and bowel resection 5 week's ago. Still no appetite and so tired, feel stronger in myself physically but feel lifeless. Got pinky/brown discharge too. Should I still be feeling like this, is it normal? Coping with temporary stoma too. Fed up!!

Bleeding post hysterectomy
Hi, I just wondered if anyone suffered from spotting 2 weeks post
hysterectomy
? I am having terrible issues with my bowel so I am having to go to the loo a lot more than a normal person so I’m worried this has done something bad to the vaginal stitches.

Prostap, bleeding and pain
I have been on prostap since October following excision in July, my specialist said I could be on it for 2 years then he would look at a possible
hysterectomy
. I struggled at first with low mood but patches have helped.

Has anyone had HRT implants? Would love to know your experience and where you’ve had them done please
It’s my only option left as I have dreadful menopause symptoms since my
hysterectomy
. As far as I know they’re not available on the NHS so I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a private clinic/hospital or particular doctor who does implants?

Feeling really low 7 weeks after full hysterectomy
I had a full
hysterectomy
at the end of June. I was initially feeling on top of the world after the surgery, the best I had felt in years.

Please help I'm looking for advice
I went down to see the private doctor again who recommended a
hysterectomy
and is completely on my side about it 8.6 grand private which I can't afford. I've been trying to get a hold of my NHS gynaecologist for 5 weeks not and she won't call me back or nothing 😭.

Induced chemical menopause
Hi ladies, my consultant is offering me to be put into a chemical induced menopause, via injections to shut down my ovaries for 6 months to see how I feel, then perhaps the possibility of a total
hysterectomy
including removal of the ovaries. Has anyone else experienced this?

HRT AFTER A HYSTERECTOMY
Hi, I'm 12 days post surgery and physically recovering well. The hrt patches are working as to I'm not having hot flushes but don't feel right. Does this mean I need different ones or is it still early days. Any advice would be gratefully recieved xx

VENT on Endo Appt yesterday and something he said that just annoys me
Anyway my Endo said to me you know you should stop the Estrogen since your at menopause age (had
hysterectomy
at the age if 32) for ovarian cancer and oncologist said I could stay on Estrogen as long as I want because my cancer was not estrogen driven.

Post Hysterectomy Support
What I've found is that there's not a lot of support available post
hysterectomy
. It just felt like it was a case of 'you're all fixed now , be on your way'. When emotionally I'm far from fixed and i'm extremely depressed.

Bladder and bowel function
Hi I had a total
hysterectomy
almost 3 years ago for post menopausal heavy bleeding. since then there have been negative side effects from this major surgery. I must stress that it did cure early stage cancer which was addressed very quickly for which I am very grateful.

Hernia prevention after an abdominal hysterectomy
I have ready many posts where women comment that they have had a hernia after having had a
hysterectomy
and I wondered if there is anything that puts some women more at risk of a hernia than others? Also, is there any advice that anybody could share which may prevent me from having a hernia?

Decapeptyl and evorel hrt
I was so hoping I could remain stable on this treatment and avoid a full
hysterectomy
but can’t cope with the bleeding returning and can’t be on it long term without hrt.. Would be brilliant to hear any experience of this. Thanks!

Kind of wondering…
Had a
hysterectomy
last October 28th. Last month my rheumatologist ran usual blood tests (I get them every 3 months.). And it shows my hemoglobin is low again! 🤷♀️ I had the
hysterectomy
to solve that problem.
