endo cysts and swollen fallopian tubes
they said in surgery pending how bad they may have to remove one of each (they are unsure until they do the lap) but my concern is that if they are bad, could I wake up to a full
hysterectomy
? And if so why? thank you I feel majorly stressed

Deep Infilrative Endometriosis - Recommended Hysterectomy. Age 35.
He has recommended excision and a
hysterectomy
keeping my ovaries. What is everyone's experience of this? I am currently in bed in agony from right under my ribs into my pelvis. Its debilitating and frustrating. I don't know what to do with it. Any advice on the
hysterectomy
would be helpful.

Next step is apparently hysterectomy?
He discharged me and said next stage would be
hysterectomy
when my pain becomes unbearable again. How long till that might happen I'm wondering. But depressing news but I guess to be expected?

Endocrinologist needed
I’ve had a
hysterectomy
, have hypothyroidism and also overweight. Really need to have an overhaul to check my bloods and hormone levels. GP says my thyroid is in range but I still have debilitating symptoms and really struggling to function everyday.

Eventually l was called for a partial
hysterectomy
by that team and they found l had a 19 mil engorged lining which had been reported a year earlier as being 1.9 mil, thus putting me on the not at risk list.

Monthly endometriosis bleeding after hysterectomy
I had a
hysterectomy
(retaining ovaries and cervix) in June, but since August have had monthly bleeding. Pretty sure it's endometriosis, which I was only diagnosed with when the
hysterectomy
was undertaken. It was in my bowel and pouch of Douglas.

Ovaries or no Ovaries
Consultant has recommended an
hysterectomy
as I'm also having severe bleeding during my period and am very anaemic.
Hysterectomy
is also being recommended as my mother had breast cancer but I'm unsure if I want both my ovaries removed.

Hysterectomy leaving 1 ovary...
I seen an expert gynae BSGE clinical lead and he was so blaze about the fact I may as well just get a
hysterectomy
since I'm done having kids. I have andenomyosis and endo 6 cysts on one ovary so he said I could keep one which would stop menopause symptoms.

I’m still here!
I had a full
Hysterectomy
and 6 Carbo/Taxol chemos. I do have some numbness and peripheral nerve pain from the chemo but No other treatment! I have been able to enjoy many things, seeing my grandchildren grow, look after my elderly mum etc. Each day is a blessing.

Endometriosis after hysterectomy?
I have since had a son 3 years ago (c-section) and in March this year I had a
hysterectomy
(kept ovaries that’s it) and laparoscopy to cut the endo away again. It was on my ovaries, fallopian tubes, womb and bowel.

endometriosis on uterine artery.
Surgeon removed a lot of endo but was unable to remove it from my uterine artery due to the risk of
hysterectomy
and we would like to have another baby at some point before I go down this route. I was just wondering if anyone else has this?

A book recommendation from my Doctor.
As it turns out I’ve had a full
hysterectomy
so it didn’t apply. It’s worth mentioning I thought. I’ve been put on medication for restless legs, sleep and sickness and Omeprazole. I’m feeling much more optimistic today and am looking forward to ‘managing’ the condition now. X

helpful YouTube yoga channel
She has a whole series of gentle yoga specifically for post
hysterectomy
/post abdominal surgery recovery. I have found it helpful and it’s good that it’s very specific. Anyway just wanted to share. I’ll put one link here but she has lots from week 1-12 of recovery building up. hope it helps!

Post Hysterectomy
Hi all, I am 10 weeks post full
hysterectomy
. I feel I am doing well physically and have followed all advice. However, on Saturday some familiar pain started and I am now in bed with a severe flare up. I don't know where to turn or if this is normal?!

Update after hysterectomy for adenomyosis
But when I talked to my consultant he said "even if you had no symptoms I'd still recommend the
hysterectomy
medically" which set my mind at rest a bit. Everyone was really nice and made me feel well looked after.

Pelvic Pain and spotting 9+ years post hysterectomy
Hi my mum had a full
hysterectomy
following a diagnosis of Stage 1C clear cell OC. 6 months of Chemo followed this. Since treatment and op she has been suffering with what has been described as chronic pelvic pain ever since. She had been told she cannot go on HRT as her cancer was Clear Cell.
