Gum Hyperplasia/Bleeding
They bleed a lot, on my latest trip to the dentist he said the
hyperplasia
(gum overgrowth) had increased quite a lot since my last visit. He is referring me to an oral surgeon. He has said previously that my medication (Anagrelide) is to blame for my problems.

ACCELERATED MIGRATION AND INVASION OF PROSTATE CANCER CELLS AFTER A PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY-LIKE CHALLENGE: ROLE OF NITRIC OXIDE
These findings are backed by clinical studies, which suggest greater nitrosative stress in those with prostate cancer as compared to benign prostatic
hyperplasia
(BPH) and controls [169].

Does anyone else think this could sort of work?
I don't know, but maybe it would be beneficial to induce menopause to stop the
hyperplasia
of the endometriosis and the bleeding cycle.) Has anyone else had this and has it worked?

Anyone prescribe Metformin for prostate cancer not for diabetes?
In benign prostate
hyperplasia
(BPH) xenograft models, metformin inhibits testosterone and attenuates prostate weight and pathological alterations31.

Told I can't have ablation because I have an enlarged heart.
ECG carried out by paramedics reads: ABNORMAL ECG: 1 SINUS rhythm 2 Possible left atrial abnormality 3 Possible interpersonal infarct - age undetermined 4 Tall T waves - consider acute ischemia or

Have not got a clue what these readings mean but bottom line is, this cardiologist also told

CT Scan unable to diagnose Liver Haemangioma vs malignant Tumours?
Do Radiologists often use words like "Other considerations include focal nodular
hyperplasia
and less likely hepatic adenoma or fibro-lameller hepatocellular carcinoma"? Meaning that there is a open question marks on what is the actual diagnosis?

Treat BPH in prep for Brachytherapy?
Hello and thanks for reading. I have done some study and would like to go the brachytherapy route. But I have a weak urinary stream. I am thinking that if I go that route, I’d better treat the BPH... beforehand. Has anyone here done that same thing? What would be the best approach in terms of lowest

Growth inhibitory effect of doxazosin on prostate and bladder cancer cells. Is the serotonin receptor pathway involved?
Doxazosin
, an alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonist, is used for the treatment of benign prostatic
hyperplasia
(BPH) and hypertension. Alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists also inhibit growth and induce apoptosis in malignant prostatic cells.

New study below [1]. Back in 2004 the research on PubMed indicated that the androgen receptor [AR} was generally wild-type at diagnosis and that AR alterations were a consequence of castration therapy.
