How to safely start Fentanyl patch when already on opioids?
I’ve been on 2mg of
Hydromorphone
(Dilaudid) for a couple of months now for hip and bone pain. The pain has gotten much worse, so my oncologist upped me to 4mg each time. (I’m still taking 2mg, I just take it every 3 hours now instead of every 6 hours).

Looking for some guidance please
Can anyone speak to
hydromorphone
and its suitability for RLS treatment. Of course I would very much appreciate any feedback and suggestions. Sorry for the long message however I wanted to try to provide a complete picture. I look forward to getting some feedback. Thankyou! Bobby

How soon after taking 4 month eligard shot can you switch to firmagon?
I am now in constant pain and have resorted to a daily regime of
hydromorphone
(13+ mg) just to manage it. I am not happy since there was never any compelling reason to make this switch that was communicated to me.

Hello my palliative doctor prescribed me
Hydromorphone
for pain but it makes me really sick and nauseous, any suggestions for other options that you have a good experience with? I appreciate your opinions and suggestions on this matter.

The Beginning
It could be a lot worse, I still feel my life is blessed And that other folks are dealing with much more But this is a hefty burden And I will not apologize For time outs I started on Hydroxychloraquine, then added
hydromorphone
4mg, gabapentin and prednisone 25mg.

Pancreatitis In the ICU VENTIALTOR
Hee is also being given pain medication which is
hydromorphone
, midazolam, and propofol. He recently went for another CT they said his pancreatitis has been better than before but still needs to be less inflamed. They are still giving him sedatives and believe he is sedated again.

Daughter brain tumour surgery-waiting for radiation-depression & aggressive behaviour increasing like with concussion or brain injury
Yesterday she said put me out of my agony & grabbed her
hydromorphone

Hospice Journey 12/10 t 12/17/21
The medicine in the pump is
hydromorphone
. The dosage is not as large as the pills, but being able to go directly to the blood stream is far cry better than having to be absorbed through the body. It allows the medicine to join the cancer fight right away.

Hospice again
I'm currently on a 75 mcg/h fentanyl patch, 15mg methadone three times a day and 4mg
Hydromorphone
tablet one to three tablets every hour as needed, (one day I had 27 of those tablets but it really didn't help that much).

Experiences with Docetaxel after lots of side effects from first session
Severe joint pain (solved with
hydromorphone
), nausea, constipation and now an infection. I'm wondering what the future sessions may bring. I'm interested in people's experience on 2nd - 6th session if their first session was hard. Thanks.
